IRL I mean, not niche "quirky" webcomics online...

I genuinely feel like I would've had more job opportunities if I was a bubbly, outgoing person - regardless of my ability to do said job.

Like idk about introverts here but I swear I get treated like I just got dropped here from another planet because I'm not bouncing off the fucking walls 24/7.

I think you are seeing some delusions of persecution here.

Being extroverted is nice cause it helps socially but introverts also still succeed too just have to try a bit harder.

Then that's not delusional if there's a lack of equality.

I'm successful, but yes, had to work harder than others in some aspects, especially when I was job hunting.

I'm not sure "morally superior" is the right phrase.

Extroverted people probably create more opportunities for themselves and it may be easier/more pleasant for other people to get along with extroverts. I wouldn't say this has anything to do with morality.

Perhaps you're right about creating more opportunities.
I will say I mean in a larger, more cultural sense in the US - it's much different in other parts of the world from what I've seen.

My new boss is very extroverted and it's kind of annoying. He's always trying to have random conversations and thinks I don't like him when I don't chime in because I'm busy keeping up with a shitload of work.

I felt this way too job hunting. Of course I never mentioned this trait. Its just something we have to deal with, I also think that this is unfair that people have to break their personality to become successful

Because on the most basic, all encompassing level, the only thing humanity as a whole Cares about is procreation and the continued well-being of the species

Introversion hinders that endeavor

It's a primal instinct thing

In my completely uninformed opinion, the "side-effects" of being extroverted lend themselves to employment opportunities (eg increased networking)

I mean, if two people with similar skills and experience apply for a job but one has lots of charisma and one comes across very dull, of course I'm going to hire the charismatic one. It's a potentially valuable asset in itself - the ability to charm potential business partners and close deals and things like that.

Introversion and Extroversion are literally just where you get your energy from, and where you expend it in relation to people. There are such a thing as socially inept extroverts (they tend to be extremely depressed people who constantly complain about failing socially), and socially adept introverts (they tend to be the life of the party, and then want nothing to do with any parties for another month).

People are discriminated against in the hiring process literally all the time, and nothing is done about it because it's extremely difficult to prove that a candidate was not hired for a specific reason.

It is difficult to prove, because the hiring official would have to admit to it, either verbally or in writing like how it was demonstrated in the aforementioned example as clear cut discrimination.
