Yeah, in all honesty, Dragon's Dogma 2 was pretty much what I wanted out of a sequel to Dragon's Dogma. I wanted more Dragon's Dogman because I loved the systems in it. I wasn't expecting there to be almost zero iteration on its core systems and even the look of the world, but oh well. Hopefully they address a lot of the issues. Am I correct in assuming that there is no Ur Dragon in the post game? That was a big reason why people played for the post game.

I figured it out. Turning it on auto HDR would create latency that made the game pretty unpleasant to play. I had to turn my TV's game master mode on instead of auto, then turn my picture mode to PC or game, instead of HDR mode. This makes the game look washed out though, so I turned on colour enhancement to strike a good balance between HDR and SDR.

Holy crap. I just put the game on my 4K TV (PC output), and put my TV on auto HDR mode. I wonder f I can do something about the latency involved, but holy crap, the colours look much more vibrant on the TV versus my monitor.

Hope Offulve can find someone to buy the imitation Jadite Orb from him. He was willing to cross some pretty shady people to get away. He should be so lucky that I gave him the imitation. Now he can cut his ties from his former master and find a new line of work.

Hm. This gives me an idea. Can a forgery of a ferrystone work the same as a real one? Would be nice if it could, but I doubt it. It's all magick and shit. We need an eternal ferrystone like in DDDA. Hope they add it sometime soon. Man, how many years did they have to iterate on DDDA? All of the shit that was good about the first game should have been in this game at launch.

What I disliked: I dislike the horrible optimization on PC, Denuvo DRM, the utterly pointless Day 1 DLC (seriously, stop it), the lack of impact from random encounters, and lack of variety in random encounters. I haven't played far enough to get a sense of the story.

They look shitty as hell until they actually render up close. Probably the most distracting thing about the graphic quality outside of the massive performance issues in metro areas.

My issues are those that can be fixed with patches. Fix the performance issues is mostly what I want right now. I'm still enjoying the core loop of the gameplay, so don't wait for my opinion on that. I'm enjoying just exploring and filling out my map. The battles, while numerous, aren't so insurmountable that I can't blitz through them in a few seconds. I'm far less annoyed by the frequent battles and skirmishes in Dragon's Dogma 2 than I am by the frequent battles in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth.

I remember when the MyPillow guy just exploded onto the scene from nowhere, ever running ads up in Canada, MyPillow.ca and all that. His rise and fall has been more precipitous than Jared from Subway.

I'm not disappointed by the game. I'm quite enjoying it still. I've played sparingly over the last week or so, and my character is level 25. I can't say I'm disappointed that this game feels just like Dragon's Dogma 1.5 instead of Dragon's Dogma 2, but all I wanted was more Dragon's Dogma. I'm hoping the DLC addresses a lot of the complaints associated with the game. The high CPU cost in town is unacceptable. I have a current Gen PC and a current Gen CPU. My 7600x should not be a bottleneck.

I solve this by storing every bit of gear I find. I have 2 great swords, several straight swords, a magick bow, a couple of daggers, a sorcerer staff, 2 wands, some bows, etc. I don't sell anything off.

One of my hired pawns tries to cast bolide/meteron during every encounter. Doesnt get to cast it most of the time because either battles end too quick or they get hit. Works well the few times it does cast against bosses and fodder tho. Seems to be more accurate this time around

The meta for Dragon's Dogma 1 was only to unlock the first level of certain spells on your pawn, so they wouldn't sit there trying to cast the full powered version of it. That way they could synergize with you or other pawns, but you could cast the full-powered version or cut it off early before you get hit.

Just assume the government is spying on you. That's my assumption. To post the bond and allow the appeal he only had to put 33% towards the final judgment. It hasn't gone through the appeal process yet, so there won't be any mitigating of that amount until it does.

Honestly, I never expected them to be able to collect on anything even close to $475 million from Donald J. Trump. None of his properties are worth that much, and he doesn't have any liquid assets. The only thing he has is a trumped-up stock option through Truth Social's merger. Yes, I know - don't do the crime if you can't afford the time. This is just a bond so the appeal process can begin. I wonder if he even has $175 million.

I want him ruined, and his entire family legacy quashed. I will settle for him just sinking ignominably into debt, never being president again, and dying alone and unloved.

What the fuck I misclicked load from last save inn and now I can't load from my previous save. fml that's hours of progress lost.

Do not ever click load from last inn because it will wipe out all your progress prior to resting at an inn and campfires don't count.

I found that out because I managed to get myself onto a cliff that was a border wall along the path, and couldn't get down without massive fall damage. I was pretty annoyed.
