Hard choice. I love both companies but Square can't break out of their RPG genre. Capcom has made a shit ton of games in almost all genres including RPGs, Fighting Games, Beat em up games, Horror games, action-adventure, shooters, etc etc

Capcom wins because of this.

Square Enix is known for the Squaresoft JRPGs it still puts out, sure, but the company as a whole produces many games that are in different genres.

There is nothing they could fix that would justify them butchering something that made the game great

Metroid 1 and 2 had glaring flaws that justified the remakes. I would much rather a new game with Super Metroid quality be made than them retreading (and trampling) old ground on something thats so difficult to improve

Lol, that kind of attitude is what got us microtransactions in $60 games (like Street Fighter V!). Sure, it starts out as oh its not that bad, then the companies slowly turn up the dial on this kind of stuff until it becomes unpalatable. But youre conditioned by now to be okay with it because it evolved into that.

Auron's voice actor did a great job.

The voice director sucked though. Why did they keep that dumb forced laugh? The minute they heard that, they should have called it shit and tried to get a more natural laugh in.

I wonder if Twitch will ever reach a point with Phil that they decide it's not worth all the hassle to keep him on the site. They must get hundreds of reports about him every day, and not all of those reports are based on nothing. He's been suspended twice. And he attracts people like Tut and this Emerald guy who are very sketchy. Any other streamer in his position likely would have been jettisoned a long time ago, but for some reason they keep him.

I mean Machinima keep him on for god knows how many years and it only took the epic fuckup of disclosing his pay grade that got him canned.

If theres any compliment I can pay him, its that hes tenacious... in the kind of way that a barnacle that hangs onto a ship during a rough storm is.
