Lucina isnt faster than Marth I dont think. She is shorter though.

Marth has a tipper on his blade, where damage and knockback are greatly increased if he hits with that part. Lucina has flat damage and knockback for her whole sword, that is stronger than Marths hilt but weaker than his tipper.

So glad to have Y.Link back, I was a Link main on Melee till a friend challenged me enough I had to switch to Y.Link for the speed. But Ultimate changed Link too much for my taste.

Donkey Kong is my favorite "heavy" character because he's still fast. His balance of speed, weight and power is helping a lot in WoL. A few fist/physical spirits go a long way with him too.

Shulk doesn't seem as fun as he was in 4, even though he's the same?

? Fire Emblem

Shulk is not the same, hes actually drastically better

A lot of the lag was removed from his moves, you can quick swap between Monado arts by holding B, and they last less time but are stronger to make up for it (based off the Hyper Monado custom in Smash 4)

I'm not too familiar with transformation boosts. If you enhance shadow he becomes one of the strongest attack spirits and comes with a transformation duration up passive

Hes by far the best heavy character Smash has ever seen.

Half the reason hes so good is because of his projectile game, and the other half is that damn chestplate he has (absorbs knockback if you hit it, down-b turns it into a counter/reflect)

There's a big difference remaking good games and making your own. Activision have only proved that they could do one of them so far. The stuff they were making up to 2008 don't leave me very hopeful they can do the latter.

You know, they had 2 dev teams working on the game (one of them did the port but still)

You'd think that they'd maybe learn about what made the level design of the original trilogy so great doing that, but who knows

You know, I really don't guard/dodge enough in this game.

It's more like...not at all.

They're useful. Just don't over-rely on it. Rolls go stale in this game if you use them too often, which means they take longer and leave you vulnerable longer
