If youre talking about World of Light... theres ways to cheese it. Some people use Launch Star spirits and then bait them off stage into the star

I use the broken skill tree to take Super Armored and Infinite Charging smash attacks (and eventually, Hyper Smash Attacks)

With Palutena, I have all the characters.

Speaking of which, what's this I hear about her being better in this game?

In Smash 4 she felt like an unfinished character in multiple ways.

- She was the only character besides Miis to start with all of her custom moves unlocked from the star. Its clear that a focus of the character was swapping these out... most of them were trash.

- Her default customs werent that great too. Warp and Auto-Reticle (the two that carried over into Ultimate) were alright. Her side-b was a reflect which was useless in non-projectile matches. Her down-b was a counter that did almost nothing in retalitiation. Some of her customs were really good but 99% of tourneys banned customs.

- Overall her frame data sucked ass. She was slow as hell and some moves just werent good for anything.

In Ultimate, shes loads faster in every respect, has Explosive Flame (previously a custom) as her side special (it has a really strong sweet spot), and her counter got buffed up and combined with the reflect (the only other dual counter/reflect in the game besides K Rool).

Hell no, especially now that there are other alternatives to Smash out there in the platform fighting genre now.

It would take too much work on their end to make it work (from a willpower standpoint).

Theyd need to pay for a good roster because almost none of the iconic Playstation characters are owned by Sony. Theyd also need to make the game fun because the first game was fucking stupid to play.

Honestly idk why you guys are freaking out. The switch is selling hand over fist. I can see Nintendo dragging out the Switch lifespan for a very long time. Since Sakurai is involved in such a critical project (botw, the acclaimed launch game was serial # 1, Smash was serial # 2... to illustrate priorities) he would have to know about the projected lifespan of the console.

Cant make a new game for new hardware if the hardware isnt even in development yet.

I really hate the order of the roster. Needs a custom order feature or at least an alternate series-ordered option

They should let you order it by franchise. Its really annoying if you want to switch between, say, Star Fox characters for example.

We only had a few characters unlocked when I played it, so I stuck with the same two mains I've had since the N64: Ness & Pikachu.

Can't wait to see how my other mains play. Mr. Game & Watch is my "joke main" that I'm still decent with. Mega Man is a new favorite, but I didn't play Smash 4 enough to really get used to him. Bowser Jr. (because Lemmy) is one I really want to like, but he sucked terribly last time and I hope they improved him.

Game and Watch is pretty cool actually. Most of his attacks are more expressive in the sense that they are closer references to Game & Watch games. And he has a new forward-aerial where he drops a bomb,
