The difference between Gunn and Roseanne is that Roseanne had a history of going on racist conspiracy theory rants. She got fired for going on a racist conspiracy theory rants. Gunns comments were very old and he got fired because people dug them up. Its very easy to argue that he is not the same person today.

Disney had to know about Gunns tweets anyways. I mean when you are the face of family fun entertainment you have to vet employees of billion dollar franchises like that. What I want to know is why nothing was done about them before.

It's obvious TC still wants to have a friendship with the guy, he just doesn't want him at his house and is asking how to go about conveying that without being a jerk.

My advice: You can be candid/honest, tactful. Perhaps you can let him know (if this is the reason) that you are particular about who comes into your house and would love to go play mini-golf (or whatever) this Friday instead.

It's so silly. Tons of people in this topic act like (or do not know) how subtleties actually exist in socialization. Things like "grow a spine!"

I mean its not like its a big event or turning down a date or something. My friends and I give I dont feel like it for hanging out all the time and its not a big deal. Its not like hes blowing off the friendship either because OP still hangs out with friend doing stuff. Its just casually hanging out. Has nothing to do with growing a spine or whatever people in this topic are spouting. Its a casual hangout so idk why someone has to agonize over saying no over it. Just be honest. Thats all it takes; OP just doesnt want to do it so its not like theyre lying.

I was in 5th grade. Since we were in NJ, I guess the administration was told not to let us outside in case the terrorists had more planned. We were told the school was spraying for bugs so we couldnt go out for recess that day.

Also they were literally saying we will retaliate if were attacked. Not that it needs to be said but of course Trump will take that statement and use it as a rhetorical bludgeon against Iran and the rubes who support him will cheer.

I think its fucking sad how Obama gets us to the best point in relations with Iran in decades with the nuclear deal and this fucking moron Trump tears it up with both sides (even the hardliners who were against it before it was struck) begging him not to. Now he wants to threaten war on them when they are an even worse target than North Korea. A weak country doesnt get involved in as many proxy was as Iran does.
