Used to be able to speak a bit but it's been ~5 years so I'm probably pretty close to zero on that. Never actually considered looking for a tech job, not a bad idea. Any advice on starting to search around a little?

Teaching in China is temping, but I'd probably want a bit more time to try to learn some of the language before trying that out.

I've been all sorts of up and down over the past few years, high point was living in Japan for a year and loved that (so I low-key have the same question Santa asked work Visas) and low point was depression kicking the shit out of me for a few years. Thankfully in a better place in terms of that now.

Besides that I finished up my design degree, decided I hated working in design so currently finishing up a CS degree while doing database work and still doing indie dev and weird side art projects in my spare time.
I kind of gave up my social life to work on those projects, but thankfully I've got some good friends that are alright with me dropping off of the face of the earth for months at a time.

I never got the confusion around the N64 controller, was an alright design that allowed you to hold it and either use the Dpad or the analog stick. Only problem is not many developers seemed to use the dpad configuration.

Would definitely watch a JSRF playthough by someone. Letting viewers submit custom tags could give you a great way to engage with the audience too.
Was thinking of doing a JSR playthrough as a bit of a trial run for making videos, no idea how many times I've played through that game.

I remember enjoying Episode 1 quite a bit but not really caring for 2 or 3.

For the sequels so far I enjoyed TFA and TLJ was 10/10 for just the visuals alone.
God damn that movie had some amazing looking sets and scenes.
I even loved the entire casino adventure just as a way to get a glimpse of the bizarre world and style of the elites in the Star Wars universe. And that throne room fight scene. And the hyperjump. And the blood snow.
I think I just convinced myself to pick it up on blu-ray and I think the last movie I bought a physical copy of was Speed Racer.

Pod racing almost makes it close but TLJ is just too pretty.

With Forza Horizon 4 showing yesterday I lost pretty much any interest I had in The Crew 2. I'll take the constant multiplayer world/changing seasons over a gigantic but empty feeling world and some plane racing.
