IIRC he did have the power of invulnerability and there was a prophecy that no man would ever kill him, and he really took that to heart.
Although when Eowyn did reveal herself to be a woman, it made him briefly hesitate in doubt. Ultimately, it's less that "no man can kill me" and more that nothing could kill him under normal circumstances. Barrow Blades aren't easy to come across, and virtually nobody had the courage to stand up to the Witch King in combat like Eowyn did. But that's what ultimately did him in.

So I don't think Treebeard could kill him, but maybe he could fuck him up a bit? Maybe getting stomped on by an ent could at least briefly put a Nazgul out of commission? I have no idea.

I think all the Pokemon based off of inanimate objects get a lot of unfair hate. And usually the likes of Voltorb and Grimer are brought up as a counterargument when people are critical of newer ones like Klefki, Garbodor, etc.. But honestly I think Voltorb is absolutely brilliant in its design. I like the more complex Pokemon, but Voltorb's simplicity makes it so effective as a Pokemon design.

Also, I think regular Weezing is one of the best Pokemon ever made. I don't think it's that unpopular because it is a Gen 1 Pokemon after all. And it had a significant presence in the anime. But I think even then, it's pretty underrated.

Venusaur got totally robbed though. Only one of the three final stage Kanto starters that didn't make it. In fact, that whole line got totally screwed. It's rare to have a three stage Pokemon line be all outstanding designs like Bulbasaur's line is.

I loved the main game, but I think my problem with the DLC is that it felt too tedious. I got tired of it just as I was starting to figure things out because it was just requiring too many repeated sessions of going into the Stranger and doing certain things in a certain order all within the confines of the time limit.

It isn't quite like the base game, where once you have the knowledge, you can work toward it straight away after resetting.

I think I should have probably taken a break before starting Echoes of the Eye. I went into it not too long after beating the base game. It's unfortunate that I couldn't bring myself to finish it though, because it looks like there was a lot of good stuff in there too.

My predictions for who wins each bracket:

Northwest: Charizard
Southwest: Mimikyu
Northeast: Mewtwo
Southeast: Scizor

I think Southwest could be a toss-up though. There are couple other Pokemon there that I could see winning too.

And Scizor has a tough matchup in Round 3 vs. presumably either Aggron or Garchomp, but I think he'll take it.

Charizard's bracket actually has a lot of strong Pokemon there. But it is Charizard at the end of the day.

And I feel pretty safe about picking Mewtwo for that bracket. Though I could see Greninja having a small chance of challenging him.

I didn't like Final Wars much. Okay I could live with Godzilla being overpowered if the final battle was better. That last act had waaaaaaaaaay too much human action and soooo little kaiju action. Then a quick lame final battle between Kaiser Ghidorah and Godzilla. Now the Mutant soldiers vs. Ebirah cooked.
I like the human action in Final Wars at least. It is a shame that Godzilla basically just steamrolled through almost every fight, but I don't think the human side of the plot is necessarily to blame for that.

I consider Final Wars to be one of the better movies in the franchise overall. Definitely in the Top 10 Godzilla films for me.

If this was up to the general populace, the only Pokemon who'd even have a chance of stopping Charizard in that first bracket is probably Gengar. But maybe CE will be different. If I recall, Chandelure had the highest vote percentage of any Pokemon in its preliminary round, but that could have mostly been due to the Pokemon it was matched up with. Would be nice to see it beat Charizard though.

My favorite is Feraligatr. It should beat Pangoro easily in Round 1, but it's probably not likely to beat Metagross in Round 2.

I'm glad you liked it. Though, I thought the mutant at the end kind of ruined it. Not only did further cement the David stuff, but the monster was dumb looking, imo.

I wish it was an actual monster, instead it was a lanky engineer thing. I thought the the mutation goo could've been cool back in Prometheus, but the more they do with it the more I dislike it. It wasn't necessary at all here, but it was ok as an explanation midway through, but then they added a mutant to the end and I was kind of done. At that point I just wanted it to end.
While it obviously looked like an Engineer, it felt like more of a callback to the Newborn from Resurrection than anything else.

I like how Romulus was able to implement elements from the all the other movies. Except for Alien 3 I guess. I never really caught any reference to that.

When a caterpillar/worm turns into a butterfly or a beetle it starts out bigger and fatter than the final product. That weight goes towards the final metamorphosis. How does something with no weight go to being a huge beast without consuming anything.
I've read or heard before that xenomorphs can eat pretty much anything, including metal. So they could just be literally eating through the walls and gaining sustenance that way.

I don't mind some kind of gimmick ability, as long as it's fun and not too overcentralizing. Compare the wirebug to the clutch claw for example. The wirebug is at least fun to use, and you could conceivably not use it that much and still put up an efficient fight against a monster. The clutch claw is an example of what not do do, because it's not fun to use and also too important a part of your offense.

Hopefully Offset/Clash attacks are not like the clutch claw.
