Here we go! After four months of preliminaries, we've narrowed it down to our final 128 -- now to narrow it down to the single best Pokemon.

You all know how this works, I've run enough of these damn tournaments. Vote for your favorite of the two Pokemon presented; the winner will move on in the bracket, the loser gets to stay in a PC Box for all eternity.

Rounds last 24 hours, give or take; sometimes I'm not always at my computer right on time, or have to post the next one a little early so I can move on to other parts of my day. It might also happen that I'm not able to post the next round on time at all, but I'll at least end the poll if I'm able to in that case.

If there's a tie that refuses to break, it will be decided with a quick Lightning Round. I'll go over what that entails if and when it comes up.

Houndoom has been my favourite Pokmon since I was little.

I haven't played Pokemon beyond Gen 6, but based on design alone Zeraora is the kind of 'mon I'd make room for in my party even if it sucked.

Yeah Zeraora is a very cool design and I genuinely like it, but I don't know if I can personally rank it over Houndoom, who's been a bit of a mainstay for me in every game it's available in since gen 2.

Houndoom, definitely.

Zeraora not only not strikes me as a Mythical (should have been a regular Pokemon), but it also should had been Electric/Fighting.

There are very few Pokemon I outright dislike. Zeraora has the honor of being one of those. I think it's for sure my least favorite in this tournament.

Pooch. Really cool design and cool typing. Its mega looks great, too.

Though looking at it now, Zeraora is pretty cool too. I think I'd like it better if the blue parts were a different color though. Brown or orange would probably look nice. Also, wasn't it introduced in some event in USUM or something? Debuting in an event in a sequel isn't the best way to leave an impression.

EDIT: Wait...Zeraora isn't Electric/Fighting?! I specifically remember that being its thing!

It learns Power Up Punch and Close Combat, so it's easy to see why it's mistaken for Fighting.

At the end of the day, it's just a bait-y electric cat.
