I'm glad you liked it. Though, I thought the mutant at the end kind of ruined it. Not only did further cement the David stuff, but the monster was dumb looking, imo.

I wish it was an actual monster, instead it was a lanky engineer thing. I thought the the mutation goo could've been cool back in Prometheus, but the more they do with it the more I dislike it. It wasn't necessary at all here, but it was ok as an explanation midway through, but then they added a mutant to the end and I was kind of done. At that point I just wanted it to end.

While it obviously looked like an Engineer, it felt like more of a callback to the Newborn from Resurrection than anything else.

I like how Romulus was able to implement elements from the all the other movies. Except for Alien 3 I guess. I never really caught any reference to that.
