I'm in act II and I've yet to experience this supposed brutal difficulty. Some mildly annoying parts yes but everything has very simple patterns and tells. And you have virtually infinite heals on top of that.

There are no rings in the level at all. You cant get hit. You also have to fight Mecha Sonic again every time you lose, and that gets old quick. I finally got him though. Mirror mode unlocked!

You could whack mecha sonic FAST if you timed the hits right. Like you hit him 3 or 4 times when he's standing still. I always finished him by spin dashing him through his own forward dash.

The problem isnt that he can't/won't finish. These things happen. I dont even think he owes it to anyone to hand off the series. The issue is he has strung people along for years saying he's working on it/close to finishing when that is clearly not the case.

If he'd just be up front and honest about it it'd be a different story.

GRRM deserves some flak for stringing along his fans like he has with books hes never going to finish. But this is too much

He ought to not finish or hand them off, just give everyone summaries of what happens to each main character and of the big climactic moments and just move on

The Russian and US armies already had Japan contained. The US wanted to test the new weapon on large civilian populations to see what it would do. Super fucked up and completely unnecessary.

My weird issue is that they were so hostile to the Maxi-golf stuff when outside of the douchebag operator of it all it seemed super cool to me. Like the last hole being some deal where you have to work with your caddy, an "ice-level"...the movie seems to act like these things are just dumb but they seemed really neat to me. It was just a strange stance for the movie to take like "don't ever try to evolve stuff or do anything different"

Fun at times but can kill the sense of exploration/discovery too if too much

People say the humidity is bad but I disagree--it's the sun itself that's the worst part of it all. Absolutely brutal. Give me an overcast humid day and I'll be a little uncomfortable and live but that sun will literally kill you.
