I don't any more after my last one died a savage death so I am cringe. Part of me really wants to find a nice 13 inch one gaming, and it would be neat if it had a VHS player in it though I imagine that would be a pain compared to a regular VCR lol. Yes, one that neighbors just down my street had left at the curb for the trash. Its a 27-in Trinitron which works perfectly. 100 lbs though, so its still in my garage and I need to haul it upstairs to my office/gaming room at some point. Id be hooking up anything PS1-era or earlier on it. --- http://imgur.com/a/WqlxL ... Copied to Clipboard!

Nah. Last time I owned and gamed on a CRT TV was back in.....2007ish. Something like that. I had one of those HD CRT TVs with that sweet 720p and 1080i support. Those small handful of component cable supported games on the PS2 like star ocean 3, 480p and 720p gaming on the original xbox (I had that tactical resolution advantage on halo 2), and that early xbox 360 era gaming (I can actually read the text in dead rising. Hell yeah) was real nice on that. I got a hand-me-down HDMI capable flatscreen in 2008 shortly before gears of war 2 came out and so gave that CRT to my brother for his new apartment (which was the final time I actually played a video game on a CRT TV in general). When 2011 came around n' gears of war 3 was about to release I bought a 40 inch LED TV that I used for a long time before the screen died. Whenever I would play older generation consoles and games I would always do so via a emulator on my PC+PC monitor, portables like the PSP and 3DS, or something like the NES and SNES classic. I always figured that if I actually go through the effort of digging out my older consoles (they are all deep in storage at this point. Even my xbox 360 is stored away in the closet these days) and wanted to plug them up to modern TVs then I would get something like a framemeister or the more modern devices that is better than that to do so. --- GTag:MadDogg730 PSN:lMadDogg NNID:xMadDoggx NS friend code:5313-0564-0819 Go buy cyber shadow like right now. ... Yep, got one back in 2023. ProScan brand, though I don't know the exact model off the top of my head. Only goes up to S-Video, but I'm perfectly fine with that as it keeps the signature CRT effects (pixel bleeding primarily) without being too sharp like Component is. I have a 30" Trinitron. The holy grail of CRTs. CRTs in general are super easy to find, if you know any old people. Thrift stores don't take them. Best Buy probably doesn't take them anymore. They've just been sitting in old people's garages for the last couple of decades since they upgraded and can't get rid of them. Facebook marketplace is a pretty reliable place to find cheap-to-free CRTs, especially since, as noted above, thrift stores don't take them. I used to have a 42", but it was just too cumbersome and the picture was losing quality; plus it wasn't a size that offered any nostalgia for me personally.
