It amazes me when people literally do Republicans jobs for them of scaring people into supporting Republican-lite policies, and I get accused of being the fucking Republican.

The reality is, our GOVERNMENT is designed to be conservative, but our people are not.

The Senate and Electoral College literally serve one purpose, and thats to thwart the MUCH LARGER group of Liberal minded people from crushing the smaller group of Conservatives.

Our culture is almost 100% Liberal. Our media is almost 100% Liberal.

Liberals like Inviso who are too afraid to boldly support what they think is right over fear of Conservatives are 100% why we dont have Medicare for All, so yes, I guess youre right, I blame the population of the country.

And another reason Conservatives get as far as they do, despite being wildly outnumbered, is because they hold no such fear. No Conservative has ever in their life considered but what will the Left think? before putting forth a bill or action towards realizing their beliefs.

The frustrating thing in my eyes is the Democratic framing that we needed an upgrade to the last stimulus to begin with, rather than just "more stimulus".

Saying "nobody expected $2000 + $600" says that you think there shouldn't be any more stimulus at all.

Were you under this impression because anyone said it anywhere, or was it because you are that much of a Democrat? (this part is a jokey quip not an insult)

I say this because the Democratic Party ran on "We'll get you $2000 checks" after the $600 checks, and just typing "Biden 2000 checks" into google, literally everything the campaign or media is reporting on specifically says the phrase "$2000 checks", which is not "We'll get you up to 2000 including the 600 Trump gave you".

I'm very disappointed that all of Tim's stuff post-Kotaku has been these overly-long review videos. I don't know why that is. Kotaku gave him free reign to make whatever videos he wanted, and there was a huge variety of different content. Now obviously the videos were never going to be the exact same since he doesn't have a production crew or coworkers, and COVID has messed up a lot. It's still weird that he completely stopped making any sort of shorter, goofier, or improvisational videos. I don't know if its an obligation to his patreon supporters or what, but it's the exact opposite of what I like from Tim Rogers.

I dunno, I feel like if you just took any 20 minute chunk of his new content, it's the same style as his old content.

And neither the center nor left faction of the Democrats is strong enough to break off and replace the Republicans as the second major party.
