This feels oddly familiar. Kind of like a Neversoft demo custom song on Guitar Hero. My opinion of it wavers based on my mood... regardless, it never reaches the 8 tier. Thanks for the response NFUN. Did you know that Toxtricity ranked Gates' OST one spot higher than Explorers, making it his highest ranked Pokemon OST (or at least very close to it)? You seem to like the music from Explorers, so you might want to reconsider. Maybe my picks from Gates to Infinity were just bad!

I think it's just not really my style. I've heard other songs from it before and didn't care for them much either. Even Infinite Dungeon 2 kind of misses for me, and that's likely one of the tracks from the game I should like the most

wait what tim follin made this? I can't put my finger one what this reminds me of, particularly the "He's growing so much, so strong" part. Maybe it's just Queen in general. The panning bugged me. AFAIK, Sega CD doesn't force panning, so i dunno why they chose to do it like this. The song as a whole is successful, though too long and not proggy enough to justify its length

Actually a really cool remix. If it were just a metal version of either theme alone it'd be kind of whatever but the mashup was well done. Great name too. The prior comments were just explaining how it got over my natural aversion to these remixes, before you get confused. It succeeds somewhat where others would and have failed. Very nice to listen to. The beginning is a bit... introspective[?] for my tastes. Like it a little better when it picks up, and 2:18 with the low synth is tops. Of course, and this reference was inevitable, I'd go to PSO for this kind of quasi-atmospheric calm scifi bgm

It isn't the my favorite song from the soundtrack. It isn't the most unique. It's not the most remarkable or memorable or stylish. But it might be the most *classic*. And you can't help but groove to it. I never noticed how good the bass was. Not something that was conveyed well by my CRT TV. the clapping is kind of dumb though. I think that's just a product of this video including the final lap in it?

I think this remains my favorite DKC song? Not sure. A lot of DKC songs aim for the same feel. It's a pretty mellow soundtrack. For me, most kind of miss. They're nice, just dig themselves into a hole where I can't muster much emotion for them. This one, at first, kind of seems like it's going that direction too. The direction it takes at :35 saves it, and manages to reframe the song in a manner I prefer much more

this isn't a bad ys 1&2 port! The vocals are nothing. They do not improve the song. They do not hurt it. They exist to be ignored (except at like :20 the baldr/exa pico vocals there stand out). Luckily, the instrumental is pretty good. Unexpected bongos and Gust world strings yes please
