I got a sandwich, paid contactless because of covid and saw on the receipt that they charged me for a different, more expensive sandwich

I pointed this out to the guy who was like "No I didn't."

And I was like "Yes you did, look at the cost of the sandwich, now look at the receipt and what you charged me for."

And he was like "Oh....ok......" then just stood there blank faced like a brick in a T-shirt.

So I said "So then refund me."

And he was like "Oh we can't do that. We can't do partial refunds, only full refunds."

So I said "Well then refund the whole thing, then charge me the correct cost."

And he just stood there again like a lemon before going "Um...well...err... we're not allowed to do that."

Now I'm starting to get annoyed here like "So what you're saying is you have to overcharge me and no matter what you can't fix it. For absolutely no reason?"

Then he goes "Well...ummm... what I can do I guess is give you the difference in change(cash) from the till"

And I'm like "Won't that make your till unbalanced?"

And he's like ".... I dunno...." Then gave me a big handful of coins.

I get everyone makes me mistakes and I have plenty of tolerance for a screw up but once you have screwed up fix it. Don't just lie, then stand there like a gormless moron. I don't get what this was or what was wrong with that guy...

This is the same place that didn't know what wheat bread and cucumber were...

Police in Tokyo have arrested a 20-year-old man on suspicion of sexually molesting a woman in her 20s as she walked home last month.

Police said the suspect, Rikuto Yamazaki, a post office employee, has admitted to the charge and quoted him as saying he groped the woman because he was stressed out at work, Sankei Shimbun reported.
According to police, the incident occurred at around 10 p.m. on Jan 7 as the woman walked home in Katsushika Ward.

Yamazaki came up quickly behind the woman and groped her breasts.

Police said they are questioning Yamazaki, who was identified through street surveillance camera footage, about his involvement in several similar incidents that have been reported in the same area this year.

For the record it was using the same logic Republicans are using.

A guy realized he was going to be impeached so he quit, then claimed it was unconstitutional to impeach him after he was no longer in office

2 days after that Jefferson and co said its absolutely constitutional to impeach someone after they leave office, took him to trial and convicted him.
