I've never really tried making money from my crafting, so I couldn't say, but I offset my crafting costs for ishgard restoration by gathering from the diadem and selling the materials I wasn't using in my crafting. It's gotten somewhat less lucrative now, but while restoration was still incomplete it was very, very lucrative.

I find the polar opposite reactions to a certain lalafel strange, as I have always found her to be a completely unimportant character who effects my enjoyment in a completely neutral way. No strong love, or strong hate.

Sitting back and doing absolutely as little as possible was also the Clinton's strategy. It took until the last few days for that strategy to fall apart. A lot of voters actually don't even make up their minds until they are in the voting booth, and while Americans have the brains of goldfish, they can be very easily influenced by something that even a week from now they won't even think about. If there are effective attacks that can be levied at Biden by Trump, and he deploys them at the last minute when voters don't have time to forgive or accept those flaws before they vote, it could have an effect like the FBI investigation did for Hillary. I still think Biden winning is the most likely outcome, but I think it is a bit naive to expect him to just coast in no problem without having to do anything. He needs voters to both see and accept that he is cognitively declining now, rather than have that thrust upon them only at the last minute when it will be the most concerning to them.

You can't use a single source. All these outlets are corporate, which means they are largely parroting what the wealthy want you to see or hear for whatever reason. For example, the Washington Post, for some reason already pushed by a poster here, is owned by Jeff Bezos. You cannot seriously expect that to be an unbiased source of news in regards to politics. I suggest following specific journalists over outlets.

Setting the main screen background to 2D instead of 3D actually made the app run a lot smoother for me.

Mine runs playable, but still a bit slower than ideal on the toned down settings. I will stick with it for a bit and see if it starts to get to me.

This runs so poorly on my phone, I am trying to get through the tutorial to see if I can lower the settings and make it tolerable or not.

Given that your assumed purpose for getting Goya beans is to own the libs, you should obviously get Red.

Your post that I initially quoted just said teenagers. Even then the person in that link suggests that half of those working lower wages are over 25. If you're getting your bachelor's degree starting from 18, you'd be finished by 22-24 if you didn't take a break. So you have the other half full of people that are working full time to make a living despite the wages being low.

Not to mention that the assumption that all of the 18-24 people are going to college and only looking for side income is almost certainly not true. Most people don't even go to college.

you can go to google and look up the age demographics of minimum wage workers instead of trying to argue with your emotions because you don't like the facts.

I don't know where you live but my middle school didn't teach state history, and my high school history class was less than 30 years ago and really bad.

If people have an ounce of fame, they will have numerous beloved followers no matter what. People marry and write to notorious criminals in prison. Entire nations defend and devote themselves to mass murdering men and their memories. Men like Trump can build a cult following of conservatives in spite of him embodying almost the exact opposite traits conservatives claim to love (no morals or religion, out of shape, effete rich city boy who is a germaphobe and extremely vain). We are a very malleable species.

This is a delusional right wing talking point that is based on nothing to justify not caring about minimum wage workers. There isn't any economic theory behind it, and it isn't based in reality. If minimum wage was meant for only high school teens, it would be a law that it only applies to high school teens. Many adults receive minimum wage, and some don't even make anything. These are problems right wingers don't want to fix, or even see as problems, because they hate the poor and view the market as a god that determines your fate, and it is always just. It's a cult, really.

Those places don't have work. And if you are commuting long distance for your work, your costs are increasing with car maintenance and gasoline, not to mention generally just losing free time for a second job or mental health(most min wage workers need one because most min wage jobs are not full time).

Just leave for a bit and if you don't feel the urge to come back, you probably don't need it.

In 2020, it's policy is to overthrow communists and replace them with facist states who will be loyal allies. Seems pretty clear who is what now.

It sounds to me like all of this is just coming from semantics because one person worked at a grocery store and one didn't. One person seems to think an entire huge array with flags or something labeled international food aisle while the other just means the aisle with the tacos and ramen etc which are, of course, international foods.

The reason for the suburbs being so prevalent in the US was white flight from the cities because they didn't like poor people having access to their neighborhoods, which is why cities barely ever adequately fund or expand public transportation anymore too. It's why nextdoor is just people writing hysterical posts about spotting a minority walking around the neighborhood, who usually turns out to live there.

Based on her age, she may have just hit the point in her life where latent mental issues with schizophrenia become apparent. I wouldn't necessary say to cut her out of your life, but definitely make it clear that you think she needs to pursue mental health treatment or you cannot continue to have a friendship with someone who is being so self destructive for your own sake.

edit: though I should say that having poor mental health later on life is pretty typical of people who were raped, assaulted, or abused as children, and while this would still absolutely require her to seek treatment, it could very well be that there is some truth to at least some of what she is claiming happened to her.

That shit is all still happening. The news will lose viewers if it talks about the same thing all the time because it runs on being an outrage machine. It's not that people don't care, our entire news cycle is designed to be outrage after outrage that moves on quickly.

I agree that it's weird how many people act like water is gross or never drink it, but alcohol and coffee and tea all have good uses imo. It's mostly soda that people need to stop drinking as anything other than an occasional dessert.
