For it to be physically bad, you'd need to do it very wrong, very often. For it to be emotionally bad, you'd probably need to be driven to do it through negative stimulation or develop some kind of porn addiction. I don't know if stress masturbation is a thing, but I wouldn't be surprised. But otherwise, you could probably do it ten times per day without any issue so long as you have the free time to do so.

Any kind of body search, or just a more intimate body search? Online, it appears same sex officers are only needed if the request to strip is any more than removing gloves or a jacket.

I don't know if that's how exactly it should go down, but the call for a female officer makes no sense. It's a fact that such a search has to happen if there is suspicion of contraband. The only thing that matters in this case is if the the cop performed the search properly.

no its not, because there are people defending this using the same logic you used. Its why people stand up for themselves regardless of the severity. this could be justified as just a search, just like asking for ID could be justified as "just asking for papers". They're both quick and technically legal. Doesn't mean the public has to give in.

No, there is:
Stopping someone without cause
Requesting papers without cause
Detaining without cause
Arresting without cause

You could have jumped to any level of that in order to have a discussion, but you instead jumped over to the realm of sexual assault for some loony reason. It's a completely faulty jump in logic.

Yeah, there might be some people who are a little too harsh and judgemental about it, but the people who cannot understand that some people don't want that extra baggage are pretty weird.

Any organization can lead to a bad mindset under certain circumstances. I think people get caught up on the word supremacy because of the connotation of some kind of actual power. The better message would be avoid making sweeping generalizations of what you're fighting against and dehumanizing what you might consider as the "other side" of things, lest you develop an attitude where you see yourself as their better. The question would be, is that a problem seen in any BLM circles, or did he just bring up this idea out of the ether?

Think we're going down a poor quality slippery slope here, but yes, assuming there was some reasonable imperative for going door to door. If it's some kind of dick waving power move by a local station to show they have "the power," then no. If there's a murderer hiding somewhere in a neighborhood, sure, even though I don't think police would ever actually operate like that in any realistic scenario. Making it a more realistic situation, if there was some power tripping cop pulling over dozens and dozens of people every hour just to run their IDs for some random reason, then that would be an abuse of power to complain about. For someone who was stopped in a legally sanctioned stop, even if it's a legal gray area, then just fucking comply for three seconds.

That's a very poor comparison. It would be like saying you should comply to unwarranted police detainment. Those videos I can understand. If they have no right to take you out of your car, then fuck that. But papers are papers, literally a minute or two.

I never really get the point of these videos. Why waste a half hour bitching at a cop for something that would otherwise take a minute? Unless there's some correlation to running info and false arrests, seems like absolutely nothing.

We're in a new era of streaming services and people barely going to the cinemas unless it's for a comic book movie. There has been movies that have had an unknown lead that found huge success. I don't know what the goal of this movie is never mind the budget. Notice how neither of us or anyone debating it have still used the name of the movie.

Halle Berry who has been a sex symbol isn't necessarily the best pick to play a trans man just because she's famous.

Breakout films are particularly rare, and it's super unlikely to happen within this specific genre. The point of a famous actor is to potentially bring in people who go in on starpower alone, widening the reach way more than the simple premise ever would have done. Maybe her portrayal would have been absolute tripe and ruined the film, but the chances of it making any real impact or profit is pretty low without her or another major star. I can understand if someone really thinks integrity is more important than reach, but I feel the same people would want more people to see such a film as well.

Infinity War's scene was pretty bad because it invoked the "only women can fight women" ancient trope. The one in End Game was stupid because it makes no goddamn sense, even in a franchise that introduced time travel barely two hours before.

She's not some $20 million per film actor, but I doubt it would have been chump change either. You don't go in on an actor like her and expect nothing from the film. Ultimately, if someone wants to make a film about a transperson that reaches a wider audience, they're not going to get it with a trans actor at this point in time. The smartest thing would have been to have her as the lead and get smaller trans actors as secondary characters to get their names more out there.

You realize that it's obvious more people are going to want to watch a film with a big name over an unknown, right? Plenty of critical flops still make money on starpower alone. If you want to make a wide reaching film, you hire a big budget actor. They can still be commercial failures, but you at least have a shot at making money over some barely known D-list actor.

If you want to make a high budget film, you need actors who can bring in money. No matter how inclusive we get, I honestly don't think we're going to have that many high profile trans actors. So kinda shooting themselves in the knee if they want to produce something more than an indie festival darling that maybe 1000 people ever see.

I lock my door always, but I doubt anyone would ever actually have robbed me in my area. My biggest worry is actually a wandering severly autstic man who seems to end up in random places throughout the neighborhood. Ended up fully clothed in some guy's hot tub way back.

No idea who she is, but it's true that some people seem to think they're immune from criticism due to having served. Though Tucker seems to have had more and more shit takes as of recent, so he probably on the wrong side of things.

Never hated her, but I wouldnt identify her as a stellar human being either.

One handed controllers and feet controllers have come a long way. It wouldn't be a seamless experience, but it's hardly a deal breaker. Especially true when you have plenty of money to fund custom controllers for your needs.

You need artistic talent for that. Being able to play anything should simply translate to being able to replicate any known song on any known instrument with the proper sheet music, but that doesn't mean you're talented at making songs. Abby feels like she has no real place in the narrative. Her father was completely unimportant, so the connection she has to the overall plot feels shoehorned. If they had actually planned for her, she easily could have at least been in the first game. The futility of revenge is always lost on games where the protagonists are able to kill dozens of people at player discretion, even more so when the characters themselves willingly kill without any second thought. The final scene has zero impact due to that.

Considering she's perfect, she's a billionaire, so I don't need to work ever again. That means I can easily adjust my sleep schedule to spend more time with her, so sure.

I dislike this fetishization of diversity, like being purposely diverse is a virtue. Big corporations checking off the list is just the commercialization of it rather than fostering an open and encouraging environment.

Under the assumption this wasn't a deliberate murder, this guy somehow found himself on the road no matter how many proper safety precautions they took. It is a fundamentally unsafe place to be for extended periods of time. Outside of deliberate murder by car that has happened a few times, the chance of being accidentally run down in a park is pretty much nill. That doesn't mean this isn't homicidal negligence. It's screwed up, but I never understand why people skirt the rules in Middle Eastern societies. It makes much more sense to lay low and get the hell outta dodge as soon as possible.

The differences in population aren't anywhere close enough to make up for this discrepancy.

Florida, one single state with a population of around 21.5M, posted almost 11.5k new cases today by itself.

Canada, with it's population of about 37.6M, never even came close to a single-day increase like that across the entire country combined (the highest was about 2800). You would have to go back to the beginning to June to measure a 11.5k new case count in Canada at this point.

You're comparing a sparsely populated country to a densely populated state. The US is definitely in full moron mode, but the comparison just really doesn't work.
