A character's prior performances have absolutely nothing to do with an "underdog" status. It would be like calling the Ravens the underdogs when they played the Browns because the Browns have more championships from 900 years ago. People seem to forget Auron has been pretty mediocre to just downright forgettable for years now. Just because he once upon a time was a contender each year and has won doesn't make him this odds on favorite or not the underdog to characters who have all contest appeared to have more support. The contest never works that way. Support and strength is dynamic to the point in the contest we are at. That would be like thinking Layle is some sort of unstoppable powerhouse every year only to be surprised when the support ultimately dries up where it always does.
