so say no if they try to breathalyze you? and then pass the field sobriety test. if you're not sober enough to pass the test you deserve the DUI.

Pretty sure you get towed on the spot if you say no. At least in NY.

Having said that, I have a friend that got pulled over because she veered due to checking her phone.
It was a night, and she had been drinking. But only had .09 and she is tiny.
All that being considered, she passed the field test and was breathalyzed after.
Seem fucked to pass a field test and then get breathalyzed.

Long story short. You have no rights while in your car.
This goes for almost any case when you in your car.

The field test only exists for them to use against you in prosecution. It's biased and subjective. If you're doing the field test you will almost certainly be asked for the breath test afterward no matter how you do.

Side note: I have a coworker, who grew up in Ticonderoga and said he took Acid once, a long while back, and 'watched birds' build the Black Watch Library, brick by brick. LOL

I know someone else went to middle school up there and got rooped into the reenactment thing. She became a fifer. She said it became awkward when her boobs showed in her outfit. Having said that, she did blast off some of the cannons at some point... So that's pretty bad ass.
