It's even more ridiculous in a franchise where one of the characters, M, largely assumed to be a man for most of the novels and movies, was suddenly cast as Judi Dench in the late nineties with no plot explanation or anything acknowledging the role was now female. Now Judi's performance is the iconic performance of the role.

M is a codename or position in MI6. They mention her "predecessor".

But all the Bonds are clearly not the same person from a distinguishable timeline of events. It exists in a number of different continuities because it's a very old franchise. Ergo, Connery's Bond is not the same person as Craig's Bond as both take place in separate continuities.

The Daniel Craig Bond series is a reboot. He's the only one who is different. The rest are the same character. In On Her Majesty's Secret Service (Spoilers)

Bond gets married, but his wife is killed at the end of the film. His wife is mentioned in many other films during every actor's tenure as the character.

The Bond series is one of those things I'm real nerdy about. I just want to mention all this stuff cause I see misconceptions about the series a lot.

Yes. Some people over analyze things and feel the need for explanations that make sense. It's kinda starting to bother me at this point. When people who aren't really fans ask about it I don't mind because they just aren't familiar with the series, but even some fans go along with the theory and there's plenty of information out there about his backstory. Hell just watching the movies proves the code name theory is bunk.

It's like saying Batman is really several people since he's been around since the 40's.

I was fighting someone in the wild. It was near the border and there were plenty of people there just hanging out or fighting. I was fighting one guy while another watched. Me and the guy were slugging it out with our scimmys, but then while I was almost dead the guy watching just blasted me with magic and killed me and it turned out those two were working together.

The only real thing that bothered me was loosing the couple of zombie items I'd liked to wear. I was pissed at the time, but looking back it's kinda clever.

Not surprised The Silmarillion is on there although their reasoning is kinda dumb, but it is Buzzfeed. I really just read the list to see if it was on there.

I had to read it about 3 times to fully get it. You'll constantly be flipping back and forth between the text and the index, glossary, and map. There's just so many names, places, things, gods, animals, weapons, and people to remember. The kinda archaic way it's presented and it's general vagueness about things doesn't help either. You have to be a Tolkien nerd or in the process of becoming one to really enjoy it.

Yeah. With the woman solo singing. I used to always skip that song when I was younger, but now it's one of my favorite songs on the album. In part due to that scene. The reprise of Breathe at the end of Time while Dorothy sees her home in the magician's crystal ball gives me goosebumps too.

And yes the money transition is great. It's so craY how the movie and album align so much even if it's a total coincidence.

I think millennials hate is ridiculous. Yet, I don't feel like I can relate to what a "millennial" is and I was only born in 1990. I hate how a lot of fans are being so crazy with their hate over TLJ and Disney. There's plenty to criticize about TLJ and Disney's handling of the series, but some people go too far with it. Both critics of the previously mentioned and SW fans in general are lumped in with the nuts. Now critics are just labeled as nerdy, virginal, nostalgia blind, sexist haters and SW fans in general are seen as insane and never satisfied.

Hell yeah it is. Its what really got me into Ministry too.

The game itself is underrated despite its flaws. The drug dealing/smuggling and money laundering parts were great and I wish GTA would rip that off. It's too fun of a feature to not be used.
