I honestly think the Scarface game is a hidden gem. It was a GTA clone, but it did a -ton- of shit to differentiate itself and I think it turned out to be surprisingly fun more often than not.

Plus the game legitimately has a dedicated button that does nothing but make Tony Montana curse. How can you not love that?

Hell yeah it is. Its what really got me into Ministry too.

The game itself is underrated despite its flaws. The drug dealing/smuggling and money laundering parts were great and I wish GTA would rip that off. It's too fun of a feature to not be used.

The current "leaks" about GTA VI being set in Miami and South America with you running drugs between the two definitely make me think of Scarface.

There's a decent amount of stuff from this game that Rockstar should ape. I'd love it.

I played that game to 100%. From what I remember, I really liked the empire building aspect of it and the soundtrack, but the gameplay was kind of frustrating.

Also felt like the game retconning the movie's ending ruined the whole theme of it, so it was a little hard to appreciate the story. I was also somewhat annoyed that Pacino refused to lend his likeness to the Godfather game (which came out around the same time and had the rest of the cast on board) because he respected the series so much, but he had no problem with Scarface.

That game was awesome overall, all about it
Especially if you love the movie like i do this game still must have. Making money was a lot of fun

I remember reading an interview where he said he specifically did it because Coppola was against the game, where as with Scarface the movie was always meant to be mindless fun so he thought a game about it was no big deal

It's weird to me, then, that every other major cast member were fine with it. Marlon Brando, James Caan, Robert Duvall, and Abe Vigoda all contributed directly to the game, while others still allowed their likeness to be used. If Coppola was that against it, I'd think others would have joined Pacino in not participating.

The first half of the game was awesome. Then it went to shit.
