Our government will cut programs arbitrarily regardless of the state of our taxation. 3. This is the lowest disparity between the upper class and the lower class benefits in a tax cut we've had in a while. Tax cuts are generally a boogeyman because usually what happens is the top brackets get all the benefits and the lower class usually go up-- this one is pretty well down across the board. The wealthy are getting more benefit because they have more money, but I mean as far as "lower taxes" go this one isn't nearly as offensive as the usual and is something the working class will actually notice (in a positive way). Ideally we go back to the days where the top bracket got like 50% or 70% tax, but you needed a huge income to get to that level, and there were like 30 brackets instead of 7 but whatever. This beats the other tax cuts of my lifetime for sure. --- No problem! This is a cute and pop genocide of love! |

I don't think not cutting taxes necessarily means it won't be cut. There are plenty of things we can cut or more efficiently spend before gutting medicare. But like, I also don't want to be reliant on it. And I mean I love my mom but she earned every bit of her poorness. She did not exactly lead a smart life. The problem is that the stuff that gets cut pretty much does screw over the little guy every time-- but there are a lot of inefficiencies in government expenditure. However for this particular tax plan as a middle class person I'm going to see a few thousand dollars more in my pocket so I can't really pretend to be very upset and I'm not one of those mustache twirling fat cats that fearmongers are claiming are getting all the rewards either. It might end up screwing the country over in the end but it's a tax cut I actually notice so I'm going to be happy about it for now, and prepare to be upset about it later. --- No problem! And the year Seymour did well I did transition to Seymour as #1 before Yuffie was out IIRC. Sometimes it's Rikku or Tidus or Agnes Oblige or Sephiroth-- really just depends where the momentum is. | Lopen 12/21/17 1:16:38 PM #19 | Metroid Prime With each passing iteration of Metroid, the game was slowly perfecting the 2D Exploration Genre, with Super Metroid being an all time great game. Then we crossover to first person which is more of a chore to explore than anything, and dumb gameplay down to a bad FPS, and Metroid hasn't been worth playing since. Ocarina of Time I loved Link to the Past and even Adventures of Link which proved that they could branch out and still keep me entertained. My hopes were high for this game after Super Mario 64 was a slam dunk. Unfortunately while the exploration and puzzle solving elements of older Zelda games were still there the gameplay is just really lacking depth and challenge here and it has been lacking in the series ever since. I'm not sure which of the two were bigger disappointments for me. Probably Metroid Prime just because Super Metroid is much better than any Zelda game-- but I also hadn't seen Nintendo fail yet when OoT came out while I'd already been disappointed a few times by Prime so yeah really hard to say. --- No problem! I'm going to go back a bit-- forgive me if I go back too far but I have a friend who had trouble with 180s too despite having the gear for it and it turned out there were a few "newbie" things he was doing so I'll sweep through those first. 1. For boss fights, you put the battle speed down to 1 in the pause menu, right? The ATB input delay murders your action efficiency at even 2 speed. 2. Mandatory things to bring to boss fights: Protectga and Shellga (or bard songs that do the same), Hastega from a soul break. All mandatory things for boss fights. Ideally you also use Full Break and Magic/Power Breakdown, the equivalent Dances, or soul breaks that do those things. 3. Put the start soul break record materia on one of your hastega users, as you need that up ASAP If you're doing both of those and still being murdered on turn 3 with the soul break compositions they're giving you with those in mind, then I'm not sure, but yeah particularly that first one is a newbie trap. --- No problem!
