Yeah when she was Coffeebeanz she would go to a topic criticizing Republican/Conservatives and go "but what about the liberals/democrats?" It took Trump's shitty covid response to have her finally see the light, which to be fair a lot of my relatives who are/lean right wing also saw the light, especially the ones in the medical field. My Trump 2016 voting Uncle, who is a MD, even got accused of being an actor because he was for the vaccine. He didn't even know being pro-vaccine was a Democrat thing, just a common sense thing. I think politics wise, he still leans right but no longer supports Trump nor will he be voting for him in the next election if he gets the nomination.

Episodic works well for discussions and hype. Almost every netflix shows just dies of off real quick because of the binge model, only 2 exceptions were Stranger Things and Squid Games. The Boys wouldn't be as fun to watch if it stuck with the binge model.

What's the American equivalent to it?

That's fine, Secret Invasion immediately gets props for going in a different tonal direction than the typical MCU movies/shows we've been getting lately. Andor was the best thing Star Wars released, tv show wise, and it loos like Secret Invasion is going for the same type of vibe. There's still 5 episodes for Secret Invasion to turn into shits, so we'll see.

Other steaming service will eventually follow. Netflix is essentially the trend starter. The fact that there was news reports that their subscriber base only went up even after the password sharing thing will only incentive them. But for now, most don't even have the subscriber base close to Netflix numbers and the last thing they want to do is piss off the ones they already have.

Huh, I remembered there was a KH game with no skippable cutscene. I thought it was KH2 for some reason.

Unskippable cutscenes is a downer, but it's not something I ever used. The only game I wished that had it was probably Kingdom Hearts 2 vanilla because the dialogue was downright awful. I swear I would probably die form intoxication if I were to play a drinking game for every time they say "darkness" in a cutscene.

Red flags are swinging high, but if Nintendo can really pull this off as a smooth transition I would be impressed lol.

Interactive movies aren't a bad thing. A lot of my favorite games are essentially "Cinematic Games" but that's because I also like watching movies as well lol.

I think I'll enjoy this game, just don't have a PS5 atm. Waiting for the inevitable PC release.

Yeah at most they said the original Mangaka just supervised with the Character Designs and scenarios (whatever that means). Stll not going to watch it, but great for Rurouni Kenshin fans at least?

I mostly blame the Japanese government for their lax punishments when it comes to things like CP. Just sucks that you can get thrown in jail for smoking some MJ but get a slap on the wrist for owning CP.

I watched it and had the same experience with it as well. It's a really cute film and them touching on immigration was a very big surprise, considering the trailers made absolutely no mention of it at all. I honestly thought all the romance was kind of the weakest part of the movie. I didn't see the chemistry with them (no pun intended), most of the stuff they did together kind of felt like what "close friends" would do.

7/10 for me. It's not as bad as some people are putting it, but it's definately very middle of the road in comparison to other Pixar films. It's got a good message and a lot of heart, shame I didn't like it more.

They really need to give this place a break. CE is clearly unhealthy for them.

Yeah the first 6 episodes are crap...as in you probably already saw this type of humor from other Adult Cartoon series. By episode 7 the show finds it's stride, but I don't blame people for dropping though.
