Unfortunately, you can't.
The original ending was utterly perfect, bittersweet and capped off with the credits theme, which is beautiful.
In Perfect Chronology as far as I'm aware, even if you ignore the new content entirely, it will still not go to the end credits and instead have Teo and Lippti come out and remark that a better/happier ending awaits if you do the additional content.

It's a shame, I think PC added a lot of nice quality of life features and the voice acting is good. But fucking w/ the amazing ending and how they re-balanced weapons their cost and gold drops from enemies (ie, nerfed them horribly) to the point that you have to engage w/ the new side content to keep up w/ proper gear... just really sours it and kinda makes me want to recommend the original to people over the spiffy port/re-make.
And I say that as a huge fan that owns both versions and got the pre-order special edition of PC.

The "real" economy has been on a downward spiral since pre-Great Recession (and the seeds of it have been planted and fertilized constantly dating back to Reagan).
Incomes are largely stagnant, costs of essentials have skyrocketed, jobs have been shipped overseas or replaced with automation, people are going into heavy debt (and more of it into high interest / risky debt like credit cards), the social security system is a decade from going bust, the government's debt load is getting so unwieldy that just paying the interest on it is becoming a huge portion of annual spending....

But hey, stocks have achieved near perpetual "line go up" status and the GDP is higher w/ the average person having nothing to show for it, so who cares about any of the above, right?

I bought one 3 summers ago and absolutely love it. I mow every 5 days and it has yet to give me any issues.

I was doing every 2 weeks and it was fine. Took 4 total full battery charges, so I just went out w/ 2 batteries, mowed for about an hour, went in to recharge them (I'd want a break anyway), then go back out later or the next day and finish.

1. Raising/removing entirely the income limit for SS contributions, but NOT letting anything above the ceiling contribute towards it (or contributes at half the amount put in, or such). "Tax the rich"
2. Other forms of wealth tax to provide more funding sources. That capital gains tax rate sure is overdue for matching to income tax rates....
3. Going after all the expansions to the SS system that the architects never intended and the adders never providing funding for. Reduce their payments.
4. Reducing payments to everyone slightly, starting immediately. The sooner it hits, the smaller the decrease has to be. Boomers and Silent Gen caused this mess, it's immoral that they get off scot free. Since they've gotten to collect 100% this whole time, this measure STILL hurts them less than younger generations, but of course they'll scream bloody murder about it anyway.

Paid $1000 extra to the landscaper for Zoysia grass, they put some shitty "contractor mix" on top of it and said eventually it'd die in the summer heat (which it did) and be replaced by the Zoysia (which it didn't). Fun fact: they're not liable!

I wanted a manual reel mower like that, but figured my yard was too big for it (1/2 acre). Went w/ a Greenworks battery powered mower. First had a busted wheel and had to send back, but the 2nd worked fine. Paid for a 2nd battery, each one lasts 20-25 minutes, and within 4 total battery charges I can get everything done. I definitely didn't want a gas powered mower. And well....now my lawn is dead anyway, lol

I love the cuisine and find the culture/history/mythology interesting.
But given how grotesquely polluted it is and just seems...unsanitary in general... don't think I ever will. It's gotta be an insanely long plane ride, too. I haven't gone abroad anywhere yet, and my "bucket list" is massive: Japan, Greece, Thailand, South Korea, Cambodia, Panama, Vietnam, Philippines, Turkey.... and more, that's just off the top of my head

India is like China where visiting to experience the historical sites and culture is nice in theory, but really not practical or a good idea in reality (though for different reasons)...

My favorite episode is one of the only episodes I had on VHS tape that I recorded from when it aired, which is the one where Sage is off looking for Kento, and has to save him from the Rock. I think Anubis comes after him to try and prevent him from getting Kento out of the rock.

I remember Sage meditating in a waterfall and trying to use his Thunderbolt cut to open the rock that Kento is in but it doesn't work at first until he beats Anubis and uses Thunderbolt Cut at the end.

Sage was also my favorite character, with probably Kento next, possibly Kento tied with Rowen.

I was in an Ames store as a kid w/ my mom. She said she'd get me a video game, and I really wanted Wild 9. They had it in a bin w/ other PS1 games w/ a B1, G1 sale.
So of course I scoured the bin for the 2nd game to get. Hadn't heard of any of them, wasn't sure what to get, but a game w/ a weird name and even stranger cover art, Suikoden, grabbed my attention. At the time, I was mostly into platformers and Zelda and had barely played any RPGs (now my favorite genre).
So, on impulse, I got it w/ Wild 9.
Obviously played Wild 9 first and it was ok, but... eh. Guess I was growing out of platformer games.
Gave Suikoden a try, and...my god... I couldn't stop playing it, I instantly fell in love. Ended up getting the 2nd game and later when they released the entire series, and funded the Eiyuden Chronicle kickstarter. It is my favorite series of all time, and I only discovered it by pure dumb luck.

To keep my post from being too long... similar story w/ Baten Kaitos. I was in a Hollywood Video and told the sales guy I liked RPGs. He very passionately expressed how great BK was, and despite my reservations about it being a card-based game, he sold me on it, and....yeah, it was also really great.

The ONLY reason to use self-checkout over human is because everyone else (outside of CE, apparently....holy shit that Bill Burr topic's responses were like the damn Twilight Zone) knows this too, so the human checkouts always have a line of people. If it's a line of people w/ a lot of stuff and I don't have much, I'll use self-checkout.
Otherwise, human is usually faster.

IIRC the toys had removable armor pieces so they were HUGE compared to the figures, which were rather small. So the figures looked like they had tiny heads. Some of them were also rather off-model or used the wrong colors.

They definitely didn't always look perfectly like the characters, but most toys back then didn't.
The armor pieces were a handful, but unarmored the toys had great movement and were well-designed.

Rowen was always my favorite character, Sage was 2nd. And the two of them got along pretty well and even had an image song together, "Cool Moon".
Fucking hated Cye. The hell do you mean, "maybe we don't need him (Rowen)"? Then in the 2nd OVA he punches Rowen unprovoked. He's an ass hole, and no one ever calls him out on it.

I always lose it at "Lady Kayura, she's a girl!"

I always interpreted it as just an awkward way of saying, "oh damn, she's actually kinda fine..." :D

Japan just ages characters ridiculously young. It's why I've never minded the "age-up translation" thing. Cause if you weren't told the ages, for a lot of anime characters, you'd NEVER guess what they officially were, based on appearance, behavior/actions, and position/job/duties.

Yeah, first I've heard of this. Season 2 finale seemed to wrap things up pretty solidly.
The rumor I DID hear was that originally only 1 season was planned (at least, w/ the original cast) and Talpa/Arago was supposed to win in like a downer ending. Then maybe Yulie (bleh) once he grows up leads an uprising against him and is now a Ronin himself. But the show was unexpectedly popular, so they had to quickly revise the last few episodes before they aired to change it the Ronins winning.

The ONLY reason to use self-checkout over human is because everyone else (outside of CE, apparently....holy shit that Bill Burr topic's responses were like the damn Twilight Zone) knows this too, so the human checkouts always have a line of people. If it's a line of people w/ a lot of stuff and I don't have much, I'll use self-checkout.
Otherwise, human is usually faster.
