I absolutely took it by mistake and I figured I ought to do it. So I'll probably do this one to get the Authentic Experience (TM) and then not do it again if it's that annoying.

And yeah, I was looking around for anything over 14, but nothing was popping up, even in the city and then the Pawn Guild, and even on the roads when I was running around aimlessly. It's weird. I think I'm level 18 now so I was looking to upgrade.

The only thing I like about Star Wars is Boba Fett, and by the time they got around to doing something in Mandalorian with Boba Fett, I decided that Star Wars probably isn't a thing to get back into.

So alright. I went ahead and started a few quests and stuff and then I got this guy who needs to go to some Shadowgate place or whatever and I'm like fine. Sure. I can make that happen. I try a few different paths. Find a Watergod's Shrine or whatever, I find all kinds of nooks and crannies. I go to the north and have to fight 12 disappearing Sauriens or whatever.

So after that I'm just like screw it, I'm going to look at an actual world map.

I needed to backtrack more. Like a lot more. To that random place that had all those bandits I died to before. So that's a problem for tomorrow. I think I can make it happen. Only problem is I can't find any pawns over level 14 now.

Alright so I went ahead and backtracked to the woods area but instead I tried to go the other path and immediately got swarmed and killed by bandits on my way to that stronghold. Whoops. So maybe later.

Instead I now went to escort that not-horse with Mercedes and that was pretty simple. Also there are zombies in the game because of course.

I'm in the new Gran Soren area and I just have one pressing question: Is there fast travel in this game because thinking about traveling the lengths of this place seems like hell to get to another area.

I'm assuming he also receives a bonus for the success of the movie as well. But regardless, it's rewarding him by making it clear to him we'll still tolerate what he's in, and making it clear to giant movie companies we'll tolerate whatever pieces of shit you put in your blockbuster movie.

I think Ezra Miller is more than just a scumbag at this point, and there's no reason to watch a movie where they are playing a literal hero when they're just committing some seriously horrible crimes. That makes it a little hard to separate now. We shouldn't be rewarding someone like that.

I don't think they're going to make any decisions on that until after Marvels comes out.

And concerning Marvels, I'm actually not tremendously excited for it until I hear whether or not Moonstone factors into it. I think Brie Larson is a bad Captain Marvel (and I absolutely love Carol Danvers in the comics), Ms. Marvel isn't doing it for me as much and I think we've had enough movies of wide-eyed children heroes loving on the legacy ones, but I do actually like Monica Rambeau right now and I'd like to see if they can give her more of the personality from the comics. I have no idea how Marvels will turn out though.

Edit: Anyone concerned about Ms. Marvel doesn't need to worry now though. She's got Marvels coming up, and then they're obviously using Phase 4 to set up Young Avengers as a priority, so she's going to be in that one too. Ms. Marvel isn't disappearing anytime soon.

Eh, I don't buy into that. If you're a kid are you going to suddenly want to see Ms. Marvel without watching any of the other Marvel shows? Is Ms. Marvel going to jump out at them that much more?

Like I'd prefer that Ms. Marvel be a giant hit, but I just don't think she is. She might be after the Marvels movie comes out, but I don't think this series is going to do it for her. There's no pre-existing characters factoring into this show when the rest of the series had them (save for Moon Knight), she's a new character in general without a long legacy, and there are no well-known actors in this show. Everything that is usually a draw for these series isn't there. Which sucks, but I don't know how you add in any of that to this series honestly.

I think they released both of them at the same time because they determined that Star Wars fans and Marvel fans don't have much overlap.

Starting to think that may not be true, or people just aren't into Ms. Marvel, which while I enjoy her, I can understand. She's new, has been billed as the (somewhat) annoying, bright-eyed young hero character, and it's been going a little more slowly, I feel.

If it's a lack of interest based on the character itself, Ironheart is absolutely going to be a dud since not even comic fans like Ironheart, whereas they at least like Ms. Marvel.

I do enjoy people saying they were attached to Rook when the Pawns are all meant to be vacant, personality-less mooks, even judging by the story. Like I have zero attachment to any of these people because they're meant to be interchangeable! I wanted to keep around Hibiki because of my adoration for anything Dan Hibiki but even that loser had to get ditched immediately.

Although I do kind of wish that you could level them though, because it does feel weird to just throw out party members like that.

LMS I am begging you, for your sake, to watch literally any other Youtubers talk about movies.

Rook is already gone from my party. I replaced him with this squeaky voiced female fighter and I regret every second of it.

I do like how the voices are like 4 or 5 reasonable choices and then the most awful voice pitches you've ever heard.

Oh, the bombshell claim that Amber made during the NBC interview about evidence she couldn't bring were her therapists notes that were supposedly written in 2019, well after her and Johnny were broken up. There's multiple issues with these:

• They were hearsay. They wanted to present them without the therapist there.
• The therapist was on their witness list but they didn't bring her on because she'd have to explain why when Amber told her these back in 2016 she didn't report it to protect her; and even more importantly...
• These notes look like they were written by Amber, not the therapist. People have been comparing Amber's handwriting elsewhere to these notes and it's uh suspect. But the major thing that points in that direction is that therapists took a look at these and said that's not how they take notes. They were written like a book rather than actual shorthand that a therapist would do.

I expect after this interview that they're going to file an injunction to get Amber to stop, since it's clear she will not quit defaming him at all and that the media is willing to work with her to make her lies as clean as they possibly can with editing.

Oh, if anyone wanted to know how the Heard NBC interview went, it looks like they released those clips to kind of entice anyone who was against Heard to watch, because they edited out all of the really bad answers she gave in the clips and then continued to edit it like a puff piece that painted her as the victim and that she had an unfair trial.

Man I am very over fighting wolves now.

So I went back to the stronghold and killed myself a hydra and thought it was weird that I only had to kill one head and the thing just disappeared even though it was a really cool fight up until it ended abruptly.

So I went on back to the main village and I caught myself a thief, and then I went to this Bitter Rock isle or something and I looked it up because it felt suspiciously like DLC stuff (because DARK ARISEN had popped up in big giant letters in the cutscene there). Sooooo I'm gonna hold off on that. Not sure when I'm meant to check it out but it absolutely does not seem like now.

In any case, I swapped out my two pawns for a giant ass archer and then this fighter with a really squeaky voice and I hate it so much. I chased after Quinoa and I fought entirely too many wolves like wtf give me something new to fight at least. I thought I'd run into bandits on the way there because a couple rocks rolled down but nope. Just all wolves all the time. They wouldn't suck if they weren't pretty boring to fight though.

Anyway, the witch is a tiny goth girl. Cool. Quinoa ran away and I turned that one in. Oh, and I escorted this actually fun character to the stronghold. Her wares kinda suck though.

Tapping out for the night!

Man, the last Window's update I had messed up a lot of stuff. First my Ethernet connection won't work anymore, and now my Steam controller won't connect wirelessly unless I restart my computer after I have it on Sleep mode. I don't know how to fix either of them and I've done some research.

BUT ANYWAY, I did get my PS5 controller plugged in to do some gaming on this. I went back and found my last flower, then I found a book on the roof (I looked around forever for this) and then I told a guy some other guy died RIP.

I upgraded my guy with a lot of stuff and now I'm trying to understand something. My main Pawn, Tron, will gain experience. But the other two I have won't gain anything, and essentially I just need to upgrade to a better one eventually, right? Also, I figured out that the people in the weird rift stone world are characters from my friend's list. Cool stuff actually.

I picked up an archer named Hibiki (I assume my boy Dan's sister or something) and I went ahead and did this well quest and beat the shit out of Saurians. They weren't too bad. I had a brief scare but I got healed. Also had to pick up Hibiki twice. I'm getting the hang of things, even the crafting system.

I paused so I could get dinner, but I'll pick up later today!

Yeah, the Ezra Miller stuff was extremely problematic but still kinda funny when they were being arrested for assault repeatedly and had restraining orders but nothing serious ever happened to them because of their celebrity status, but this is entirely over the line and actually kind of horrifying because how does this end in any way other than some kind of disaster? Ezra is a violent, unhinged, manipulative person. Like something legitimately terrible is going to happen when it comes to a close, and it's a little scary to consider what exactly it may be. The fact they felt the need to run away in light of these serious allegations from the parents just screams guilt to me, and then taunting the people trying to bring them in is even more awful.

Concerning the movie, what does DC even do now? The movie is done and I just don't know what you do now aside from pitching the whole thing. You actively can't promote this film at this point in any way. The fact that WB hasn't stepped in over this or said anything is pretty gross too. Like I understand the money involved but this is extremely serious and they should be making an action at this point. My only belief is that they're afraid if they say anything against Ezra, it may end poorly for the young person involved, but that's giving WB a lot of credit.

I'm just praying for the best outcome for this, but it seems extremely unlikely.

I mean the Chimera took forever to kill at the beginning, and then the first cyclops also took a while. I don't know if I should have upgraded my weapon by that point to make it any quicker.

I'll pick this up later today, probably to do those quests I didn't do in the first village and try to figure out how a lot of these systems work.

So I feel like I didn't actually accomplish a tremendous amount tonight. My boy Sagat got some quests and I only got some of the flowers for that woman so I'll probably need to backtrack.

I did get to the other weird Pawn place. This Pawn idea is like, trying to give NPCs an excuse to be generic, which I'm not entirely opposed to? lol I ended up beating up the Cyclops there and then I got to make my own main pawn. So I went with another Capcom character I love: Tron, who is now a mage. So I got Rook and Tron hanging out. I went into that one stone and then I got a bunch of complete randos there and it definitely feels like I'm just taking someone else's stuff.

I have two mages in my party, and Sagat is a Fighter. So I feel like I need an archer in there somewhere.

Aside from that, I'll do tasks later, and then there's a combining system I barely understand that I should probably figure out. Overall, I see promise in it. I definitely learned I need to play pretty safe after dying to the Cyclops though.

So we shall see how it is.

Well, I figure that since the character creator had names, I needed to go with a good Capcom character. Of course Adon was taken, and then Proto was taken, so I had to go with my other go to Street Fighter character, SAGAT.

My character is a big bald fella with a scar over his eye. Good enough for me.

Anyway, I don't know wtf is going on because a dragon dead ass delicately pulled my character's heart out and ate it then fucked off so that's weird. Not dead though so uh that is a thing.

Aight I made it past the tutorial area I think. I killed a chimera and it took a while

But I'm also playing with a Steam Controller. I'm wondering if mouse and keyboard may be better. My only issue is being able to swivel around the camera since it doesn't seem to want to agree sometimes.

Aside from that, cool vibe. Dragon is doing badass dragon things.

Legal Eagle, specifically on his YouTube venture is geared towards entertainment and will at time dumb things down to cater to his audience. Personally I wouldnt use any lawyer ran YouTube channel for the sole purpose of learning or obtaining any legal advice regardless of said persons credentials( and as far as I can tell he is well accredited).

With that being said I would like links/sources to the claims of him not being correct or flat out wrong.

Plenty of LawTubers have done videos talking about him getting certain things wrong. Viva Frei, Hoeg Law, Rekeita Law, UncivilLaw, and Nate the Lawyer are some off the top of my head.

I will concede that a lot of his videos where he is just generally explaining things are usually fine, but it's where he gets into legal analysis that he really gets sloppy.

Yes, lawyers arguing law is certainly what their profession is all about. Well done. It's important, like always, to look at the quality of argument and credibility of these lawyers too.

However, the jury is given specific jury instructions telling you exactly what the law is and helping you understand how to apply it, and any failing of the jury to not understand that is a failure from both parties' attorneys.

Hence it goes right back to the "lack of understanding" part. Which also includes "the jury will come in with biases!" when shocker of all shockers, they always do. If not about something like this, then something else about a case. That's why jury selection is a thing to eliminate biased jurors for all aspects of the case.

Oh, and concerning the Marilyn Manson case, there's actually a lot of legitimate concern that one is also a false allegation as well. I haven't looked into it much, but folks I trust that have looked into it seem skeptical of the validity.

I've explained it multiple times before, but the folk here are absolutely correct. There is no danger of actual abuse victims coming out about their abuse being sued. Any attempts would need tangible evidence of falsehood from the abuser to prove it's false. You can't just say "I never hit her, I promise" and it goes straight to a court trial. It gets thrown out immediately. Depp had a hell of a lot proving that Amber was lying from statements she made over the past 6 years, and tons of photo evidence after alleged abuse. Like she was in a court trial in the UK and had to detail these major incidents of abuse before Depp had enough to actually sue her.

As an example, before the Depp Trial, there was a noted sex pest and abuser in professional wrestling who tried to sue everyone who came out about him during a MeToo deal in that industry, and literally every case was dismissed or dropped. And he had actual damages of being completely removed from the industry. This is the reality of what happens in defamation cases.

Don't make up the most outlandish tales of being abused and you will stay out of court. It's that basic. It's just a fearmongering and lack of understanding of the law to think women are in danger of being sued for coming out about their abusers, and it's playing directly into what Amber and her team want you to believe.

So yeah, I figure with the new game being announced and the original being beloved I should check it out because the most I know about it is that it has horrible hell elements and I thiiiink it's an action game? I literally know nothing about it. What else should I expect going into this game?
