Well they confirmed in the IGN First Impressions that we saw an early build of the game with these gameplay bits.

But oh my god why didn't they open with this First Impressions, because it's far more kind than the gameplay trailers they showed us.

Top Gun 2 and Everything Everywhere All At Once are the two best films I've seen this year by far, and I can't imagine another film topping them except for maybe Nope.

I think this might actually be the case for me too honestly. And I never would have expected either of them to be the best movies I've seen this year either!

The first one is a really cheesy 80's action movie that is still tons of fun.

This new one is an all-time best action movie for me. It feels really special.

I saw this last night. Completely freaking incredible. I re-watched the original a few weeks ago and this was basically the perfect sequel to that, and superior in every way. I earned so much respect for Tom Cruise in this performance because none of it felt overwrought or melodramatic. It all felt like such real emotion from the characters involved. It's astonishing because I absolutely expected it to be over the top with emotions, but it all felt right.

This could have very easily been a disaster that disrespected the character of Maverick quite a bit, but everything about this film was a delight. Just awesome action and it actually kept me guessing on the edge of my seat. So much to be happy with, so many emotions, such raw, awesome action. Absolutely worth going out of your way to watch, and definitely in theaters.

I want another, and hopefully not in another few decades. Tom Cruise pls give this to us.

I'm glad people seem to be turning the corner on Loki now.

I thought the series was just awful until the last few episodes, and I just don't understand this direction or why anyone would like or care about this version of Loki who is just a shoehorned version of the other one without any of the plot development (but he just changed because he saw some clips of another Loki with that plot development). Like they took Loki, the cool mischievous God and made him the white collar worker version of a hero. What are we even doing with this character now? Who asked for this? This is so much less interesting than any direction they could have gone with that character.

Yes. There was no homophobia or misogyny involved because she witnessed Amber Heard violently attacking her partner to the point she saw the marks that she left on her, and they lied and said they were targeted because of misogyny and homophobia, which sounds even more absurd when you know she is a lesbian.

If an officer witnesses someone violently attacking someone and they see marks that they physically left on them, they're getting arrested for assault, full stop. This wasn't a misunderstanding. The officer was not wrong. The officer was not unfairly targeting them. She witnessed assault, the results of the assault on the other person with marks on them, and she acted.

Listen to yourself that this is the depths of an argument you want to go to defend this. That you ignore the fact that for the cop to be "wrong" she would have to be outright lying about the entire situation, which you claim is less likely. There were PHYSICAL MARKS OF ABUSE on Tasya which is why Amber was placed into custody from the VIOLENT ATTACK that Amber placed on her that the cop witnessed that put the marks on Tasya's body. That is what matters here. There is no "alright but maybe she is wrong". It's either the cop lied or she didn't, or Amber and her ex are lying or they're not.

the entire trial is a net negative for everyone involved and in a perfect world would've been kept behind closed doors

If this trial was kept behind closed doors, we would be getting all of the biased and/or incorrect media coverage and everyone would think the result was completely fraudulent and that Amber was innocent, instead of being able to see for themselves that Amber Heard was the abuser all along and did in fact have a crazy hoax to destroy Depp's life.

Just look at the articles STILL coming out and trying to misrepresent what happened. Johnny wouldn't have had a chance to clear his name if the trial was kept private and people didn't see for themselves what happened in court.

Maybe the text we can't read says "Because we love him so much and we can't imagine the city without our beloved mayor, and we're happy to announce that he will be joining the base roster for Street Fighter Discord Notification PS he loves you too Pun!"

No, she said "The arresting officer was a homophobic misogynist" in order to protect her abuser, which is extremely common, when the arresting officer was a gay woman. She didn't just say "It was a misunderstanding." She said "The arresting officer was unfairly targeting us because they're a bigot." Abused people have constantly protected their abuser. It was a factor in this case when Johnny didn't tell everyone Amber destroyed his finger. Hell, it was Amber's defense when she supposedly didn't tell people about Johnny beating her nearly to death on the regular.

Her co-stars in Never Back Down around this time even said she was constantly abusive to her ex as well. And she even made this statement while she was still with Amber, giving her more reason to LIE about the arresting officer. But believing the lesbian cop wasn't a misogynist bigot is the insane stance here.

But in all seriousness, the original 8 SF2 characters are interesting. In fact, the SF2 extended roster is just missing T. Hawk and Fei Long. No Shadaloo bosses is a choice though.

Outside of that, the new characters don't really do much for me, but I probably need to see more out of them first. Begrudgingly, Rashid will probably be my main and I never loved playing as him in the first place.

Listen, it's just extremely weird to shoehorn in anti-cop bullshit when all of the cops involved did the right things and the one cop Amber claimed was being a bigot against gay women was a gay woman herself, because she purposefully intended to discredit that one cop from doing the right thing by forcing her to stop assaulting her wife at the time.

Like I am all for anti-cop stuff, and I routinely talk about it and advocate for the changes that need to be made to hold them accountable, but every cop involved in this case did the right thing, and she was lying about every single one of them to prey on the already preconceived and valid feelings of cops being the shits. So why bring it up here and now? Why perpetuate the bullshit she wanted people to believe?

It's a part of the misplaced anger where everyone is pissed off at right wing nutters who are celebrating this case when they would have caused a bunch of shit if Johnny lost entirely anyway. Because you can't use a ruling in another trial to present it as the truth for another trial. It's supposed to be impartial to other decisions for finding of facts.

Certain texts also weren't allowed because they were confidential discussions between him and his assistant or irrelevant to the matters at all.

It was also agreed upon that they couldn't bring up past relationships to prove facts in this case either about whether or not they've been abusive to one another. Of course, Amber is an idiot asshole and claimed she's never been abusive in any other relationships and said that Johnny was abusive to Kate Moss, so they were allowed to bring those in because SHE made it a factor.

Something also happened with Jennifer Howell's testimony that would have shredded Whitney to ribbons and allowed her to present a letter about how Amber would beat Whitney, how Amber had told Whitney that she was the one who cut off Johnny's finger, and texts in which Whitney was trying to get her to lie for them and Jennifer was begging Whitney to tell the truth to escape her abusive sister.

Oh and a lot of Amber's photo evidence was denied because she refused to pass over her phone to authenticate them until they were entirely too late, they were so clearly altered that they could not be verified, so they were not allowed on that basis as well.

So it's rich they're pretending they were blocked from having evidence unfairly.

Oh, and they want to appeal based on the fact that the Sun won the UK Trial. That will get laughed out of any courtroom. And an appeal is dangerous because they can actually overturn her only judgment she got for the $2 million by having actual judges review it and say "Actually that ruling is bullshit from the jury and we overturn it."

Amber was the one with meticulous documentation of staged photos and made up stories that she tried to fit conveniently in timelines where she claimed there were no witnesses. And she LIED.

Johnny just reacted in kind based on photos that existed through paparazzi. Amber lost because she had bad facts, not bad lawyers. Even if there was no Elaine, they still would have had a hard time winning.

Depp's team was great, absolutely. But to act like it wasn't an uphill climb to get to this verdict is nonsense given how hard defamation cases are to prove.
