Had a layover in Illinois once. I think that's it. Maryland/Virginia were as part of a Washington DC trip (so I've also been there) but we did actually do things in both of those states. Texas was when I was like 5 years old so I barely remember it.

I never beat it because I was like 5 or 6 years old and those old RPGs are hell, but my mom showed me how to play it relatively well on my own and I was actually able to make meaningful progress in the game, surprisingly.
