When you're only means if conveying how bad people are, is using means and devices said people have created, shared and given to you. The your message has destroyed itself.

Humans are great. The fact you have the ability right now to commuincate to me that you irrationally hate them while enjoying your comfortable life deomonstrates how great they are.

If a lion went to another lion to tell him how much lions sucked he'd realize he can't talk or pontificate and then be killed by the other lion.

The other lion would then die of disease not long after.

Do you agree with him?

There was a scene in Buffy the Vampire slayer where two girls who happen to be witches are at a bar when two jock guys start aggressively hitting on them and don't take no for an answer.

In the original script the witches then cast a spell that made the guys spend the whole night making out with each other.

But Joss Whedon was outraged and re-wrote the scene so instead they were punished by a spell that made them dance in cages all night wearing nothing but a thong.

Im7shHz

He told the writers that the original scene was wrong on 2 fronts.

1. To imply homosexuality is a punishment.

2. To say that magic can just "turn someone gay"

When I heard this trivia I never really thought about it twice but in today's internet SJW and anti-SJW landmine where the wrong word or opinion can have your life ruined, I wonder how CE feels about this scene today.

Do you agree with Joss or do you think the original script was better?

I was thinking about that movie earlier today, but I had an entirely different complaint. Namely, Django was a supporting character in his own film until Schultz died. Still a great movie, but not the empowering revisionist western it was meant to be.

Will Smith turned down the role of Django for that very reason. Turned out for the best, Jamie Foxx killed it.

Robbie Williams turned down the role of The Riddler in Batman Forever. The Studio did not want Jim Carrey he was like their 7th choice.

I sometimes wonder if that movie would have been better if Williams was in it

The Chilean government has just turned down a $2.5 billion mining project in favor of endangered wildlife conservation.

The original project proposal was for an iron mining initiative launched by the Andes Iron firm in the Coquimbo region. The region is dangerously close to the National Humboldt Penguin Reserve: a collection of islands that house and protect the Humboldt penguin, along with several other endangered species.

If Chilean representatives had accepted the proposal, the firm would have begun extracting millions of tons of metal from the earth, as well as building a seaport for the metal’s exportation.

Since conservationists warned that the projects could potentially harm the penguins, the Chilean government refused.

“The compensation measures were insufficient and could not guarantee the protection of species of concern,” Environmental Minister Marcelo Mena told the Associated Press.

“We are not against economic development or projects that are necessary for the country’s growth, but they must offer adequate solutions for the impact they will have.”

"you can't destory history. You can only destroy all this artwork"
"you can't destory history. You can only destroy these photos and records"
"you can't destory history. You can only destroy the human beings who are aware of the history"

Reality is what humans who are the master-race make it. Planet Earth doesn't have opinions and the universe isn't counting dead bodies.

Destroying statues and monuments is destroying history

And if you actually looked at history instead of destroying it, you'd realize the people who advocate the destrution of history are the worst people.

The Nazis, the Islamic State, Stalin, The Mad Kings of Europe, the Barbarian Hordes. Even Donald Trump is on that list.

Craig Sullivan has been struggling to find love since his wife lost her battle with cancer 18 months ago – but he deplores the idea of online dating apps.

Instead of struggling with OKCupid, he was inspired by a British rock song to put his dating profile in a bottle.

The 49-year-old Scottish widower has sent dozens of messages in bottles into the ocean in hopes that the right person would find one and respond. Though he originally planned to cast off hundreds of bottles, he was told to stop polluting UK waters.

His messages have, however, returned dozens of replies from places as far as Brazil, Turkey, the USA, South Africa, Portugal, China, and Japan.

“It’s been an amazingly broad and deeply emotional clutch of messages that have come my way,” says Sullivan.

The single father first got the idea for the unconventional dating plan after he read an op-ed about a dying children’s author asking other women to “date her husband” in hopes that he would find love after her passing.

As Sullivan contemplated how he could do something similar, the song “Message in a Bottle” by The Police started playing on his radio – and everything clicked into place.

He wrote about his mission in a blog, where Sullivan has expressed his shock – and gratitude – over how much attention he has received from the bottles.

“I’ve been contacted by 137 people from different websites, newspapers, TV shows and radio stations interested in the story,” wrote Sullivan. “I simply couldn’t get back to everyone.”

“As for those ladies who wrote to me, I just wanted to reassure you that I will reply to every one of your supportive, insightful and detailed messages — it may take me a couple of days to catch up with everything.”

If you live in London and you are interested in chatting with this inspiring widower, he describes himself as a “reasonably attractive” man who adores traveling, gardening, and spending time with his daughter, two cats, and two dogs.

According to police, the sports gear was stolen from high schools in Tochigi, Saitama, Gunma, Ibaraki and Fukushima prefectures between mid-July and Aug 16, Fuji TV reported.

The baseballs and bats were stolen from storerooms belonging to the schools’ baseball clubs, police said. In some cases, the doors on the storage cabinets were not locked; in other cases, locks were broken, police said.

Police in Izumisano, Osaka Prefecture, have arrested an unemployed 50-year-old man on suspicion of beating his 48-year-old wife to death with a wooden sword.

According to police, Kiyoshi Kobayashi beat his wife Haruko several times with the one-meter-long sword at their house between late Wednesday night and early Thursday morning, Fuji TV reported.

Just after 8 a.m. Thursday, Kobayashi called 119 and reported that his wife had died. Police rushed to the scene and found Haruko, wearing shorts and a tank top, sitting hunched on the floor of a closet. She was confirmed dead at the scene. Police said she had several bruises on her head and back.

Police said Kobayashi has admitted there was trouble between his wife and himself and that he beat her with the sword but said he didn’t think she would die.

The couple’s teenage son was also home at the time but he was unharmed, police said.

I think history has been pretty clear and consistent in the fact that everyone and every society that has attempted to destroy and degrade history that displeases them has always resulted in a net negative for that society and humanity in general.

You'll note the people who did so are the worst human beings that we know of. The Nazis, The Islamic State, Donald Trump, The Barbarians who sacked the Library of Alexandria, The Soviets, The Mad European Kings,

You're throwing your lot in with them and going "Yeah but I don't like THIS history so it's okay this time"

I think it's short sighted. It's part of the "Reality is what I want it to be" culture which is dangerous.

Fun correlation: Ever noticed that the same people who want the statues torn down are the same people who claim George Zimmerman got away with murder because of Stand Your Ground laws.

Then if you mention Stand Your Ground laws had nothing to do with the case, you will never see them again.

Why? Because it doesn't fit their reality, so they don't accept it.

Its harmful thinking. Leave history where it lies, learn from it and change the present to build the future. Don't run around trying to oblierate the past on some kind of crusade. That way madness lies.

This school teacher used to be a high-powered lawyer with a six figure salary – but he gave it all up so he could help young people in his home neighborhood, one of the poorest areas in England.

Before Mouhssin Ismail started teaching at the Newham Collegiate Sixth Form school in East London, he worked at the international law firm of Norton Rose Fulbright.

After teaching for just one year, 190 of his 200 students are set to go to some of Britain’s best universities. Of that percentage, nine have been accepted to Oxford and Cambridge. One of the students has even been given an offer to study at MIT.

The 38-year-old economics instructor says that he first became inspired to work in education after becoming tired of impersonal financing.

“After a couple of years, I felt unfulfilled,” said the teacher, according to the Daily Mail. “I didn’t think, ‘that’s great, I have just done another £50 million deal,’ I thought, ‘am I making a contribution to society?’”

“I believe in the transformational nature of education and I want to give the most able students of Newham the very best chance of going to the most competitive universities in the country and abroad,” says Ismail.

“My vision for The NCS is to make sure that the young men and women that leave us have the skills and habits of mind to be able to become future leaders in their chosen profession and in society at large. They will be confident visionaries who seek out opportunities and find new ways of thinking.”

The Government states that they will abide by the liberal's demands and remove the historic confederate statues and monuments and in their place put new works of art.

However all the replacements are actually just big statues of Donald Trump:
