Watched it earlier this year for the first time in like 10-15 years. It absolutely holds up. Doesnt stand out as being outdated at all because its a time piece, too.

I remember losing my shit as a kid during the Daffy/Donald dueling piano scene.

In fairness, they usually refer to it as transcending Super Saiyan. When they emerge from the RoSaT, Trunks says his father broke the Super Saiyan barrier. When Goku does it, he calls it a form. The only mention of the word transform is when Vegeta first does it vs Cell, as Trunks says hes going to transform into it.

That was just a one off, though - they use different language for the most part. Hell, Freeza basically does it, and he just calls it 100% of his full power.

Roshi didnt really even teach the Kamehameha to anyone. He uses it once and Goku just learns it himself on the fly. Kuririn and Yamcha seem to learn it on their own as well.

As for Kuririn becoming a mode citizen, Id attribute that more to Gokus influence than anything. Goku brings out the better side of people throughout DB & DBZ.

As some have noted, Roshis teaching were more about discipline and his philosophy on lifestyle (move well, study well, play well, eat well, rest well). And it clearly had an effect on his students, they all revere him.

By brother and I are both 63

My dad is 64 (he used to be 65, but is 70 and has likely shrunk). All of his brothers are 60, so my dad is sorta the anomaly of the family.

My mom was 56, but shes probably 55 now.

I did Ophelias first because the only spoiler I knew was that if you beat chapter 4 with your primary character, you can take them out of your party, which I wanted to do because she was very over leveled compared to everyone else.

Primrose is the only character who I kinda wanted to see how her story ended, so I did her next.

I did Tressa next because she was already in my party and I didnt wanna change things up and rebalance everyone. I dont really care about the remaining characters story arcs, so Ill just pump out them quickly so I can progress to the end game stuff.

Im playing the game for the first time myself. Beat chapter 4 for Ophelia (my main), Primrose, and as of 5 minutes ago, Tressa.

I think the combat is interesting in the game, but man, the story is sorely lacking. I dont find myself invested in any of the characters for the most part and Im not a fan of the 8 unrelated stories. It isnt a bad game by any means, but I feel like a much better game was very much attainable, but they settled on this.

One thing I do like is the boss battle sprites. Im always curious what they will look like prior to the boss battles. They did a really good job with that.

Ill give him this much the usual dumbass that votes for Trump just does the usual I would still vote for him, but it shouldnt be happening to me. This guy at least ended the interview by saying he feels shame, guilt, and anger for his vote.

He still is a dumbass because he voted for the guy who is doing precisely what he said he would do, but the average MAGA voter seems to be incapable of feeing shame and guilt for their actions. For me, it is either the Doomsday Decapitation, 3D, Doomsday Device or Shatter Machine. Im inclined to say 3D (nostalgia), but I really have always liked the Shatter Machine a lot. Fuck it, I went Shatter Machine.

If the Powerplex was on the list, I may have gone that route. I know FTR likes to use it, but theirs pales next to how Power and Glory did it.

Roshi and Goku were doing that at the 21st Budokai with the after image technique, although that is just for a quick burst.

At the 22nd Budokai in his match with Kuririn, Goku flat out disappears to everyone (not just normal humans) for an extended period of time. Only Tenshinhan can (eventually) track him.
