Topic	Would you train with Master Roshi to learn martial arts + the Kamehameha?

Kuririn and Yamcha seem to learn it on their own as well. As for Kuririn becoming a mode citizen, Id attribute that more to Gokus influence than anything. Goku brings out the better side of people throughout DB & DBZ. As some have noted, Roshis teaching were more about discipline and his philosophy on lifestyle (move well, study well, play well, eat well, rest well).
