Its a horse racing game where you make bets as the race takes place, with all betting cut off after 3 horses make it past a certain distance on the track. There are a ton of different variations to bet on and you get specific power ups/advantages that pertain only to you. You can play if with dice to manually move the horses along the track, or get an app that plays out the race on a video screen for you, letting you focus on betting. If Nintendo did a remake with better jumping and a little more variety to the stages I would probably like it a lot. At the very least, Id like to dedicate some time to it and give it a real shot. Every time Ive played, Ive just screwed around with level 1, and from my understanding, the game actually gets easier after that. The vertical scrolling is what makes it tough, and the levels are more typical horizontal scrollers afterwards.
