They have an anti-pirating protocol in place, but reversed it when a seemingly unintentional victim of pirated software explained their side of things. The usual Nintendo course of action would have been to ban him, and when he called in about it, have the police show up at his door to take the rest of his physical games in case they were pirates as well. Their actual course of action in this case sounds completely ok to me. | The_Popo 07/13/25 2:33:31 AM #92 | Saw it tonight. Im torn on this movie. Overall, I liked the plot and action sequences. But I thought the humor just fell flat for so much of the movie. Gunn was clearly going for the same formula that was so successful with the GotG movies, brilliantly working in humorous moments with the plot of a comic book movie, to great success. Except the humor just wasnt working in this one. At least, not IMO, and certainly not in my theater. It was packed, but the jokes were getting zero laughs in my theater. And this really took away from the movie as a whole for me. Thats just my opinion - Im reading through the topic, I feel like most people quite enjoyed the humor and that is fine. Just posting my own honest opinion. There were definitely parts that I liked. I agree that Lex was fantastic. He comes across as a Lex that I want absolutely brilliant, conniving, powerful, and when the cards are down, he will fuck over everyone and anyone to get what he wants. I liked Lois and Jimmy, they played the parts well. I liked Guy Gardner, Hawk Girl and Mr. Terrific - Id never heard of Mr. Terrific before and thought he was supposed to be Orion when I first saw him, due to him sitting in the chair during battle. But I quite liked him. Cat Grant seemed to be in the movie for zero reason other than to be a pair of boobs on screen. I certainly didnt mind it, but her inclusion seemed odd to me. One thing that I did get a kick outta, and it coulda been missed by a lot of people in the credits, they listed Superman first, and second was: On a scale of 1-10, Id give it a 6. But I was going into it was much higher expectations. BlueBoy675 posted...
