It's pretty to clear that the phrase One Nation Under God refers to the Judea-Christian God.

That said, trying to turn America into a theocracy goes against separation of church and state and everything that this country was meant to represent. Half the founding fathers were deists or closet atheists. And even if they had been Christian, you're still allowed to have your own religion or leave religion alone and do without one.

Any attempt at turning the US into a theocracy should be shut down swiftly and without sympathy for those who wish to rob others of their... God given rights.

I just finished watching this one on Tubi. This was made back when anime meant forced, punctuated swearing in every line of the English dub and there was one head explosion in every episode.

For too long, the WWE has relied on big names from prior eras returning. It's good to have a current star be the focus. Rock has Hollywood. He doesn't NEED the WWE.

It's something easily mistakable as a Klan robe and a photo that has been used by people promoting white supremacist ideology as if it were originally intended as a Klan robe.

You know? I kinda regret not seeing Catwoman in the theater.

I'll never get another opportunity to do so. Superhero movies sometimes get re-releases, but that one won't. If Catwoman gets a standalone movie, there's a small chance that the nearest drive-in theater will offer the new Catwoman and Catwoman (2003) as a double feature knowing that 80% of the audience will go home after the new movie is over.

But, yeah. That's really unlikely. It's about as likely as me directing a new Catwoman movie.

If you put a gun to my head and told me I was watching it again or Superman Returns again, I would choose Catwoman. It has a shorter runtime too. That's always preferable when a movie is bad.

I'm ready for her. One alternative is senile* and the other is a fascist. She's the best by default. I'm sorry that she's a hard-ass prosecutor. That is the least of our worries right now. There's a variable that cannot be accounted for.

They literally tell you in screenwriting classes that they will shelf your first screenplay and offer you whatever is available. If you turn in a story about murder and incest in a small town and they ask you, "Would you be willing to do a screenplay about a dog that plays soccer," your options are Yes or I Don't Want a Career.

And big names get punished all the time. Keanu Reeves said no to Speed 2: Cruise Control and Fox didn't contact him to work on another project for ten years. He had other studios to work for, but their doors were closed.

People hated Trump and voted against him. The same people would still vote against him. And I think Kamala's presence as a Black woman would inspire more women and people of color to get out of vote. (Yes, she has voted against their best interests in the past. But people seldom look up the history of politicians.)

If Biden wins again, I hope that he steps down shortly after taking office and allows her to become the first woman President of the United States and the second Black president.

Whatever her politics, whatever her failings, her presence alone would signify to misogynists and white supremacists the end of an era. Without being or doing anything special, her presence alone would help to level the playing field so that candidates Black, White, Asian, or otherwise might have a more equal shot of becoming president.

Sometimes, you just have to take your medicine whether you want to or not.
