I kinda liked Morbius as watchable trash but this was just miserable. Easily the worst Marvel movie, including Elektra and the F4 movies.

To be fair, it's pretty clearly not part of the MCU, since they didn't even attempt a mid/post credits scene to tie it in to anything. It's purely Sony assuming they can bank off of literally anything Spiderman related, and oh geez did they fail.

At least us women got Captain Marvel to look up to for a great super hero woman film.

It's budget was between 80 and 120 million. I'd like to know what the breakdown of the budget was.

Is it the kind of bad where there are a lot of silly moments and baffling filmmaking choices to laugh at or the kind of bad where it's just boring and forgettable?

Unless Sony just doesn't know how to count, it isn't connected to a specific Spiderman continuity, as none of them were born in 2003.

But did she say, "Look at what you Madame Webbed me do?"

Sony is not very good at making movies.

Im not disputing it, as Ive not seen the film and thought it looked awful, but Catwoman is literally the worst film I have ever seen, and Ive seen some stinkers.

Catwoman had prime Halle Berry in a tight catsuit going for it. I can say there are superhero movies that have had less to offer.

If you put a gun to my head and told me I was watching it again or Superman Returns again, I would choose Catwoman. It has a shorter runtime too. That's always preferable when a movie is bad.

To be fair, "worst since Catwoman" doesn't say it's worse than Catwoman. It just says it's the worst "since" Catwoman, aka it's... Comparable, in how bad it is.

I have never seen Catwoman before and holy shit that basketball video was fucking hilarious for how terrible it was. I might need to watch that.

I saw Catwoman. In the theater.
There is no fucking way Madame Web is a better movie than it. And Catwoman is a terrible movie. Yet still a more coherently written plot, better protagonist, and actually hits "so bad it's good" at various points for camp value.
Madame Web sounds absolutely fucking miserable and dull, along w/ being stupid and using product placement to resolve the story.

Whether it's worse than Fant4stic, I'm not sure.

Captain Midnight had nothing good to say about the movie.

You know? I kinda regret not seeing Catwoman in the theater.

I'll never get another opportunity to do so. Superhero movies sometimes get re-releases, but that one won't. If Catwoman gets a standalone movie, there's a small chance that the nearest drive-in theater will offer the new Catwoman and Catwoman (2003) as a double feature knowing that 80% of the audience will go home after the new movie is over.

But, yeah. That's really unlikely. It's about as likely as me directing a new Catwoman movie.
