EA published this super cool genesis game called blades of vengeance. I always wished this became a series because video games where you always see your weapon and armor upgrades weren't that common back then.

I think his post is coming more from the point of view that the one time we have a black character in a main character role her skin was light enough that it sets off that "but not too black" tvtrope kind of thing. The unfortunate implication that if she is too dark game sales could possibly lower a bit in certain regions, basically the ol' hollywood type of thinking.

We have plenty of black characters that help out in npc roles, is part of a ensemble playable character cast like with the RE outbreak games or make it in as DLC like josh did, but I still don't think we will be getting that sole black MC RE game anytime soon.

I would get something like a remake with an expanded moveset, enemy AI (I really want them lizalfos duels to feel like a life or death thing, lol), quality voice acting for everyone (which I already know would never happen), dungeons with their layouts changed to throw off older returning players, and a optional master quest remix mode that would challenge the player a bit to come up with puzzle solutions, 3 hearts max, and enemy AI farther expanded on. (Thats also not going to happen since nintendo is damn near allergic to difficulty options or just options in general. Maybe as a trials of the sword and master quest part 2 type of DLC ).

Just slapping a new coat of paint on the same game I already played the hell out of (and again when that 3D version came out on the 3DS) and calling it a day isn't going to do much for me. It'd be a super mario RPG switch type of things where I would mess around with it for a bit, eventually go through the game once and then never touch it again.

Not usually. There is nothing wrong with it though. I had bought the spider-man 2 dualsense and this one feels like it has a more clicky d-pad if that makes any sense and the L and R triggers feel better. (If I remember right they started using better trigger parts in these second revision dualsense controllers, which the spider-man 2 one is a part of this group).

I did end up getting another dualshock 4 though......the black one that came with my PS4 pro still works fine and is the controller I normally use when I play stuff on my PC, but I bought one of those second version clear dualshock 4s (the ones with the little light bar on the touch pad and can communicate with the PS4 or PS5 via USB if you enable that in the options) and that ended up getting stick drift so bad I could barely move in the PS4 version of dead rising 1 and deacon kept skipping in days gone.

Its FF9's jump rope. As far as I know it is the only single final fantasy minigame where most people won't hesitate to tell you to just cheese it via making/downloading a PC script program to do it for you. (If you are playing FF9 via the PS4 or PS5 then just shareplay to a PC and use that program).

Also can't believe I forgot about close enough (regular show creator's TBS show). God damn was close enough so good. This one just got absolutely fucked by executive meddling.

Coffeehouse Cirme is probably my favorite YouTube channel at the moment. Haven't heard of Dire Trip, I'll check it out.

Coffeehouse crime and dire trip actually give one another shout-outs every now and then in the comment section for their videos, and there is times when both have covered the exact same case. Extremely high chance that you will definitely enjoy dire trip's videos since both of them have that chill vibe and at the same time talk about the victims just as much as the criminal.

Thundercats 2011. I grew up watching 80s cartoons and thus have a bit of nostalgia for thundercats, but I'll tell you with no hesitation that the 2011 show was straight up better than the classic one in every way aside from like the opening theme song and animation.

It was cancelled not because of something like ratings (it was actually getting great ratings, but it was from teens and adults outside of their kids target range), but because the toys they created weren't selling........yeah, a 2011 show was meant to push toys in a era when kids in general is only really messing with stuff like ipads and like, legos.

MegasXLR, symbiotic titan, and mission hill all deserved to go on for way longer than they did. Especially mission hill.

Platinum, to me, is the peak of the series from a person who enjoyed the collecting Pokemon aspect of Pokemon. (I hate battling lol)

I've not enjoyed a single Pokemon game since. (At least enough to beat one)

I have also burned out of pokemon ages ago. The only single newer one that I legit enjoyed because of how different it was from the norm was pokemon legends arceus. Really glad my brother randomly bought me that as a christmas gift.

Still final fantasy 7 rebirth. I actually didn't play too much in the first few days but now I am throwin' myself back into it.

I remember it took me like 5 nights of leaving the PC on doing nothing but downloading that one banned outlaw star episode off kazaa I tihnk it was. Back when we had 56K dial-up/prodigy internet, lol.

By the time phantasy star online episode 1 and 2 came out on the gamecube my family had upgraded to AT&T DSL broadband....that 2.5 mbs download and I think 0.5mbs upload was practically lightspeed compared to our previous dial-up.

It may not have been the first anime I ever watched (I used to stay up real late night and then early into the morning to watch sci-fi channel. Every now and then they'd be airing anime like vampire hunter D, dominion tank police, record of lodoss war, and bubblegum crisis. My older brother would get home shortly after, and then my dad would be getting off work and also arriving home. All 3 of us would just be supped catching those dragon ball z episodes, and the pop off when goku first went super saiyan was real lol. It was an experience for a lot of us in north america/the united states since we never truly had something on TV like saint seiya was for south america that got us to pop off about anime way earlier. Yeah we had the syndicated sailor moon airing here and there, but toonami and dragon ball z was on another level.

There was a thunderstorm yesterday afternoon around 7:30ish and so I shut down a lot of stuff in my room. (Even with surge protectors and a PSU over where my TV+PS5 is I don't really like having a bunch of electronics on during storms). I had took one of my stronger pain medicines right when the storm first started, so I laid in the bed, grabbed the switch to play this one indie horror game I got, and like 20 minutes later I was knocked the hell out.

Woke up at like 2:30 am and been up since. I got a doordash order set up in about a hour for this local restaurant I never tried before because they have this crazy good looking bacon, egg and cheese biscuit sandwich with these homestyle fries.

It wasn't so much a clan as it was just a bunch of us close friends who decided to put 730 at the end of our gamertags on the xbox360. (It was like 10 of us total. Just me, my 3 close friends, one of my close friend's nephew, 2 more friends, one of my close friend's older brother and then his best friend. My older brother added it to his gamertag at some point).

We all played gears of war games (especially gears 1 and 3. Gears 2.....eh, it was aight lol), and my best friend and I really got into the campaign versus pvp in left 4 dead 1 and 2.

At one point I switched my xbox gamertag name to zoro, but then after awhile I put that 730 back on my xbox gamertag while switching the name back to mad dogg where it still stands to this day. (One of my best friends passed away awhile back so I'm not going to bother changing that anymore. Remember the good times we had and whatnot).

I never owned the original persona 3 myself, I just remember pre-ordering persona 3 fes from gamestop and spending about 30 bucks for it.

I grew up in a soul food lovin' family with my mom's side being mainly in georgia and my dad's in south carolina. I also went to my uncle's church a lot growing up full of older people who hosted a fish-fry whenever they could. Both sides knows how to throw down when it comes to seafood, lol.

Oysters (just had some yesterday. Made some homemade po' boy sandwiches), shrimp, red snapper, flounder, whiting, catfish, swordfish, mahi mahi, tuna, eel, calamari, scallops, mussels, especially crab etc.

Isn't The Answer awful? I've not played it myself but I've heard it's not well regarded.

One of the main complaints about fes the answer was that it was forced to be played on hard difficulty. You also have to remember that with base persona 3 and fes on the PS2 you could not directly control your party members, so a good deal of the dislike came from it being a bit too hard (or guess you could say annoying for those who played through the main part of the game on normal and is mainly concerned with seeing the story. To go from that normal run more than likely using a team of personas that wasn't too optimized to a locked hard run where the enemies posses way more dangerous skills/passives w/your personas needing to have a bit more effort put into them and this is blocking off the normal difficulty guys from getting more plot) for most.

With being able to control your party members and with how useful/strong theurgy is even if they decide to lock the answer to hard difficulty on up again this particular complain should be solved. *Well that, and there is always DLC personas, lol.*

Persona 3 Reload was a project meant to recreate the very first Persona 3 for modern platforms. So this means that we will not include the later story added in Persona 3 FES or the female protagonist from Persona 3 Portable.

Did they say this before persona 3 reload ended up being a runaway success? lmfao. Never hurts to take a look at doordash, grub hub, uber eats etc. not to actually use those services but to discover local restaurants that you did not know existed. There is a 99 percent chance a local sandwich shop is going to be better than any chain in sandwich size and price.

I agree. Honestly this pretty much sums up any complaints about performance mode in general for me, lol.

I can easily tell that rebirth's resolution in performance mode isn't as good as FF7 remake's, but with the way some people talk about the blur you'd think they are playing a nintendo 64 game with fog and sub nintendo-wii resolutions or something. I'm playing on a 65 inch samsung QN90B and the TV does a excellent-enough job scaling that the resolution is something I barely notice.

The only thing I remember agreeing with in that something was genuinely terrible and ruining the game for a lot of people was final fantasy type-0 HD's god awful motion blur. Like that was so terrible it actually made some people get motion sickness and so eventually had gotten patched.

I got to use it a bit more than I do.

I always found the best way for me to focus was to find a good show to watch in the background. Back when the first 3 seasons of the walking dead was more recent id watch a full episode each treadmill session. I did that 3 times a week.

I did the same thing with breaking bad. I never actually saw stranger things before so whenever I start back up ill put on episodes of that.

I'm not sure if you care about trophies or achievements like that, but just in case you do, there is two co-op trophies/achievements that you are better off knocking out from near beginning of the game or asap.

One of them is beating 15 missions total in co-op. (Those missions where all you have to do is just walk from point A to point B and talk to somebody/pick up something count towards this, so thats why its one of the easier ones to do near the start of the game where there is a bunch of "missions" like this). The other is you have to beat 1 of 5 certain bosses while playing co-op with someone. Either the rakk hive, the vault boss (last boss), sledge (the first major boss), krom or flynt.

Hydroxyurea twice a day. Extended release morphine sulfate pills also twice a day.

From there its just things like folic acid, vitamin D, and a multi-vitamin that I sometimes do sometimes don't take.

Immediate release oxycodone for breakthrough pain. This one is mostly used at night laying down and especially so during the colder months. *Also can't take this if I have to drive anywhere since it can make me tired.*

All of this is for chronic pain related issues.

It actually gives me vibes of breath of fire 4 with that game's backline system. I always wished more jrpgs would do stuff like this. Persona 5 also dabbled with it with teammates randomly taking potshots at the enemy.

Its a minor detail but I like how the game shows barret firing his gun when you have him out of the active party and so he is just shootin' from the backlines.

Game has only been out a few days. If you pushing for 100% in a few days you will be burned out on anything.

This, like why in the fuck are some dudes in such a hurry to no-life the 100 percent. Just fucking relax and leisurely go through the game, lol. (I already know some people is most likely trying to hurry so they can play dragon's dogma 2 day one, but the game is not going anywhere. I myself was messing around seeing how far I can get in persona 3 reload before rebirth came out but I was never genuinely serious about not taking my time and trying to fly through that).

I am absolutely loving the game because of all the improvements across the board with the gameplay, the minigames like the new card one, chocobo stuff and fort condor returning is genuinely fun, and the story beats is nice. Just been picking up, getting my sidequests on for about 2 hours or so, and then chill for awhile before hoping on the game again later.
