Heres hoping since it would actually be nice going through the game with femMC's confidants but without the visual novel stuff.

Glad I had a free trial of game pass to play Reload, from the get to(while I have enjoyed it more than P5), it still feels overpriced & Atlus loves doing dumb bullshit like this that makes me not want to buy their products anymore.

We can tell unicorn overlord is developed by Vanilla ware because you can see the difference in care put into it so it's not a by the numbers game, because the demo was very open & about with what the game would be. Maybe in the future I'll get it again on a good sale with all the add-ons but I kinda feel like it's gonna be a one & done for me, no FeMC playthrough is the only thing that would make me do a second playthrough

Did they say this before persona 3 reload ended up being a runaway success? lmfao. I can see how all the monies coming in got the shareholders to light a fire under the dev's asses and for the devs to reluctantly (but not really because are ya' kidding me, money!) get to work on more DLC+the answers.

It's mostly really good story hidden behind very formulaic, kinda boring, dungeon crawling. It could definitely use a touch up

Its basically a tartarus expansion more than anything, but a lot more difficult. A lot of enemies have Evade Weakness skills which can be a bitch sometimes, and there was no compendium. Theres also basically only combat and very little of anything else.

Itsdivisive.

I'm glad they did this. This way, those who don't want The Answer can choose to not buy it. They should do this with more parts of games tbh.

I dont see how it can be worse if they redo it. Most of the fanbase already doesnt enjoy playing it.

One of the main complaints about fes the answer was that it was forced to be played on hard difficulty. You also have to remember that with base persona 3 and fes on the PS2 you could not directly control your party members, so a good deal of the dislike came from it being a bit too hard (or guess you could say annoying for those who played through the main part of the game on normal and is mainly concerned with seeing the story. To go from that normal run more than likely using a team of personas that wasn't too optimized to a locked hard run where the enemies posses way more dangerous skills/passives w/your personas needing to have a bit more effort put into them and this is blocking off the normal difficulty guys from getting more plot) for most.

With being able to control your party members and with how useful/strong theurgy is even if they decide to lock the answer to hard difficulty on up again this particular complain should be solved. *Well that, and there is always DLC personas, lol.*

Dont worry; in a year the DLC will be on a massive sale

$35 isn't bad for what's a 30 hour DLC. People who bought the original P3 had to pay full price for FES.

I never owned the original persona 3 myself, I just remember pre-ordering persona 3 fes from gamestop and spending about 30 bucks for it.

on a conceptual level I think it's just completely unnecessary. P3 has one of the greatest endings in any game and an epilogue never appealed to me

I liked The Answer on my 2nd playthrough but only cuz I knew what to expect going in: straight dungeon crawling. In my initial playthrough I was expecting Persona 3-2 and was disappointed cuz of that.

Probably wont. The Answer as DLC was leaked by a known good leaker, nothing for FeMC and if they were planning on making DLC for it, they would have instantly slapped a cease and desist on the FeMC mod that is being worked on.

Correct. FES was basically like the usual $20 re-releases of older games that had $10 additional content added. MGS 3 Subsistence had similar release. It wasn't "full priced", it just made you rebuy the original game at a reduced price since DLC wasn't really a thing yet and selling The Answer solo would have been disastrous.
