Here's a fundamental flaw: Cain goes out like a whimp and it's no good

I've started to use Evasive Fire for my primary, hatred-generating attack instead of the actual primary ones. And it's working great. The Covering Fire rune makes it so the attack shoots three arrows in a nice spread that's nearly as good for taking out mobs as Chakram and Ball Lightning (though they are still superior in that regard). It does good damage too, up there with most of the primary attacks. It even has a built-in Vault!

I had a much better time with the Butcher on Nightmare. I forgot to use the turret (wanted to try it out on the bosses), but rocket launcher and especially smoke screen made it pretty easy. With smoke screen, you can activate it when/if the butcher drags you over to him and you'll take almost no damage. Not to mention it lets you escape any narrow situations with the fire floors without a scratch.

Finished up Normal, the last boss (I guess it's a spoiler?) was cool but he needs to update his shadow clone of me, it looks like a version of me from like Level 10. The rocket launcher really came in handy here, I switched Chakrams out for it since it was only a single target most of the time.

For where I'm at, I use a max buyout of 10K, works great and I can usually get good stuff for about 5k or so.

Azmodan kind of went out like a chump. Nowhere near as strong as Belial. Guess even the lord of sin can't stand against twin chakrams + ball lightning!

Oh and Rapid Fire is great too, but I've replaced it with Ball Lightning in my build

As far as defensive abilities go, use the damaging caltrops, spider summon, and smoke screen which is indispensable in big fights or when you're low on health.

Entagling Shot is too weak. Bolas might have a delay but do good damage. I'm sticking to hungering arrow at the moment, not that I use it too much.

If I were to split Catching Fire in half, with the halfway mark being when they go back to the capitol for the Quell, I might like the second half more. I don't know, there's good and bad stuff sprinkled about the whole thing.

Well I finished and uh, huh. I don't know, I guess the Quell went better than I was expecting, but even though it was much shorter than say, the Games portion in book 1 I still think it went on too long. Post-Quell stuff should have been much expanded, there's a lot to tell in a very short amount of pages. Very weird pacing. Some things should have been foreshadowed better also. I don't know, unless Mockingjay SUCKS this one has to be the worst of the three.

Finally beat Belial. Would have went a lot smoother, but lag kept killing me. And just when I thought Demon Hunter couldn't get any better, I get Ball Lightning. What an incredible move, it shredded Belial not to mention the regular enemies.

Well, so far all they've done is talk about it and announce the rules. It'll probably turn out for the better, but right now it just feels kinda lazy.

Up to Chapter 14 now. I'm mostly enjoying it, except for the Quarter Quell. Everything about it seems lazy. It was never mentioned at all in the first book, when it clearly would have been. So not only was it added in weirdly, the rules of it (which I admit does make sense from in-universe perspective) feels like a lazy way to repeat the first book again. I have enough hope that something will happen to shake things up some, like the rebellion, but it's not looking great.
