Loving my Demon Hunter, trying to use less used skills like Impale or Spike Trap, it's pretty cool, can live without Chakram or Rapid Fire so far!

-he's supposed to be able to go completely invisible, everything he has on him. I guess if he was to remove clothing or whatever it would become visible again. guns are a different story, he can make them invisible/destroy them at a distance.

-yes it's supposed to be FIREARMS. Also yes, he's grounded to modern-day weapons.

-as for the gate, by high-end ff mage I mean they have a variety of very good elemental/holy magic, but nothing continent/world-busting.

What? Her minions? At least on Hell, she summons like four of them and they are nothing. At least for DH. Then you lay in with rocket launcher and take a quarter of her health in seconds. The spider queen was pretty easy too, but I mean I never got hit from anything in the magda fight. As for Azmodan, he got tougher enough in Nightmare that I think his Hell form will be a good fight. But he's a joke in Normal, he doesn't do anything and might be the easiest boss there.

I didn't read the whole topic, but I think a lot of the problem is that people like Sess, Ulti, etc, who used to be actual users seem to be devoted 100% to trolling now (in really predictable ways too, alpha/beta, Obama conspiracy theories, xmfd this post, damage control, etc), and the second they say anything in a topic the topic immediately becomes about whatever they said. Kind of kills discussion.
Yeah this is a bad thing too. People still treat them like the big dogs they might have been years ago, but now they're no better than BALLIN and should be ignored just like he should. No one will though.

Whatever happened to smurf?

Smurf drama always felt...manufactured. Inorganic. Like he said to himself, "What can I do to stir people up?" and then he did it. Even though people would bite, it still had a plasticky feel to it. The best drama isn't created on purpose; it arises naturally from strong personalities bumping into each other.
I think a lot of the, hm, drama-creators are artificial. People like BALLIN and LOL CONTESTS, you know the type. How any of them get anything even sort of resembling a serious post is beyond me.

If being less 'social' means less trainwrecks of topics like these, then personally I'm all for it. To me, "social" topics have always been nothing more than repugnant trolling/flame wars where everyone acts as stupid as they possibly can. I'm glad we've done away with them.

Smokescreen still has it's uses, it's just much less versatile now. I strictly use it as a "leave now and get the enemies around Templar" from immediate danger.

Speaking of DH stuff, everyone should take the Steady Aim passive. It's the one that gives 20% damage bonus as long as no one is within 10 yards of you. Now I didn't know what ten yards in this game was, but then I saw this diagram showing it: . It's very small, which means this is basically free damage.

when the blacksmith/jeweler start asking for tomes instead of pages, do you need the pages anymore for anything or can I just sell them?

I just ran into my first really annoying elite, he was a fear-casting poison ground guy with three invulnerable archer helpers. He would make sure I was just far enough away so I couldn't see him but his archers could hit me, and if I did manage to get close he left poison everywhere.

also you can always remove the gem from a weapon for a minimal fee, so don't worry about putting in early gems because you can always replace them if you want.

It is gems, but gems don't start dropping until later in the game I think. You can also buy them from the auction house when it's back up and/or not broken.

Here's a rough draft of what I would probably submit.

Charles "D Money" Dallace, the Ganstamancer

Charles is a 26 year-old born from the mean streets of the ghetto. His experiences on the streets turned him into a well-hardened thug and gangsta, the likes of which would make even G-Unit blush. He is also a decent amateur rapper under the name 'D Money'. Charles' father was a sorcerer, but of course he left home when Charles was very young. When his powers started to manifest, it took the form of the thing Charles was most familiar with, rap/street culture. These powers have propelled 'D Money' into the stratosphere of popularity and fame. Charles several powers based around the tenements of being a gangsta.

-"Dont Get Caught"
Charles can turn invisible at will. Also, Charles has excellent awareness in urban environments and can use them greatly to his advantage.
-"Keep your piece"
Charles can summon any fireman to his hands. Any make and model, from glocks to rocket launchers, as long as they can be used by a human of peak physical condition (as in, he can't summon like cruise missiles but anything made for people to be used can). Charles does not suffer any recoil or fatigue from using these weapons. Any weapon Charles summons can also be turned invisible, and can be destroyed any time Charles wills it.
-"bros before hos"
Charles is immune to any kind of mind control, possession, or any other kind of pervasive control from females. He also knows that any woman can be trouble, and would never underestimate one.
-"stack that paper"
Charles has money for days. Literally, he can pile out the cash from his pockets. Any type of paper or coin money can be summoned from Charles' pockets.

D Money's greatest power, though, comes from his ability to manifest mighty spells from any successful rap album he has unleashed. Unfortunately for him, his great powers has not made him a better rapper and he has only had one actually popular/good track.

"An Embarrassment of B****es"
- Similar to the Gate of Babylon, Charles can open a rift through which powerful sorceresses and witches in somewhat trashy clothing fly out. These witches have the general power of an endgame mage from a final fantasy game. Devoted to helping Charles, they will help him in any way he asks for.

Zoltun Kulle (plot spoilers) catches on to the whole dumb goofy Adria plan immediately, He's a guy so awesome that they had to cut him into multiple pieces and stash him around the desert, and he's got a great cartoon evil laugh. Plus he actually surprised me by sticking true to his word and not actually being bad, the main characters are the ones that decide to fight after he refuses to give up the soulstone after there is something OBVIOUSLY wrong with Adria's plan

Oh wow. If anyone is in the late 40's like I am, make sure to check the auction house for weapons with the reduced level cap from 51-60. I got a great deal on a Crossbow that severely increases my damage.
