My R-Ace supremacy deck has been complete with some potential changes that could be made. I beat a poor Cyberdark player on the gold ladder but otherwise I haven't really played much of it. It's a really strong deck with few weaknesses but it's probably not as strong as playing just Snake Eyes. Hard to say really.

Yeah the best way to say it the average Viltrumite would beat the average Saiyan, but the exceptional Saiyans are pretty fucking busted compared to the strongest Viltrumite. With that said, I haven't gotten far into the comics for Invicible yet so my opinion might change.
Then you can't make that decision yet. The strongest Viltrumites are introduced like halfway through the story and are central to the story.

Ain't no one run has run out of ki to such an extent that they become so vulnerable, unless it's their big, final, all-or-nothing attack. If it goes to attrition, they'd lose, but it's unlikely the scaling matches so evenly that this happens.

What feat, the lightspeed thing? They've been breaking that for a long, long time. Kid Goku was dodging lightning and lasers, and since then, there's been a conga line of people so fast that other people cannot react or even perceive their speed, and then the same thing happening to those fast people, and so on.

Vegeta, in his introduction, is a planet buster, and his strongest attack wouldn't even register on any of the top tier fighters in DBS. Hell, base Frieza was a planet buster too, over 25x stronger than Vegeta, and nothing he could do at his original final form would register. Cell was several times stronger than Frieza, and so forth. Buu might be able to do some minor damage, but everyone below that could easily nuke any planet, and their strongest attack would still be no-sold by the DBS endgame. DB ki attacks don't inherently scale size and strength in proportion, either, mostly because AT couldn't figure out how to make it make sense, and so he just kind of ignored it in order for them not to blow up the planet constantly.

tl;dr planet busting attacks aren't even the minimum for registering as a threat. The real threat is in hitting the actual planet, because they still need to breathe.
Ok, literally no fight in DB last even remotely close to some of the fights in Invincible lmao. I've read both and DB rarely ever continuously fight for even more than a day, and you're completely bullshitting me if you want to claim that the Saiyans portrayed in the story never ran out of ki. They run out of ki all the time and senzu beans literally save the day time and time again.

Also Goku himself has to rely on instant transmission, which btw long range ones cannot be used freely. He has to have been there first to visualize, and it takes concentration and isn't ever used combatively. Not being able to perceive their speed is already countered by Omni man able to react to the Flash knock off. Considering that is the only time anybody is ever not perceivable by Omni Man, a slightly above average Viltrumite, in the entire series, it's safe to say that when DB portrays them moving faster than human perception, it doesn't mean shit for Viltrumites.

I already addressed the planet buster shit that keeps getting brought up over and over. You guys are so obsessed with that shit, but again, the idea is that they destable the planet via either hitting the core or else. PUNCHING a planet and one shotting it is like literally several times magnitudes more impressive. Making a planet blow up by punching means they're literally punching so hard that the force disintegrates the planet. A saiyan can't fucking tank that wtf, they can't even tank the ki attack capable of reacting to a planet's core. These supposed planet buster ki attacks hit the planet at an angle all the time and do nothing to the planet.

You guys keep exaggerating the planet shit cuz that's all you got to say Saiyans are even within the same tier list of Viltrumites

Kid Goku tanked a surprise sniper round to the face. It hurt, but it didn't even slow him down. Goku in DBS took a scratch from a bullet, but he was deliberately lowering his power at the time, so as to not totally obliterate the normies harassing him.
https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/a/forum/c/cf9482a6.jpg
This is probably why. I think this is damning. Viltrumites don't need Ki. They can literally fight as long as their brains don't get crushed or whatever. We've seen Viltrumites fight for like months and still retain the same toughness. Saiyans have a hard limit, and they lose the moment they run out of ki

This is where I'm at. If purely going by "Average army of Saiyans vs. Average army of Viltrumites," Viltrumites probably win.

But if we include the actual high end tiers, the high end Saiyans are so incredibly busted that they run away with it.
Tbf, I think Broly is the only one who has any chance, and we've never seen how Prime Broly compares to Jiren. But again, in this topic, there was a feat done by Nolan, who isn't even the strongest, that no Saiyan in the entire world of DB has ever overcome. How do you perceive this? Saiyans don't really have that much interstellar feats. Their main feats are all contained within planets.

For another thing, Thragg was clearly defeated, and the Saiyans 3v1'd Jiren and won via a tournament rule, not by submission. The feats aren't as amazing as you might think. DB has produced other races who may have as much potential as a Saiyan if not eclipses it, and those races have interstellar feats.

Prime Mark isn't even a Planet buster (at least, not by himself). Early Vegeta is a planet buster. Even if we give Mark the benefit of the doubt and say he could possibly be planetary at the very very end, he'd be nowhere near Goku and Vegeta where they are currently in the Manga.
But that's been a flawed comparison since the beginning. First off, not all planets are made equal. Viltrumites can literally do insane travel, and they're destroying planets without relying on energy blasts. They're punching through a planet so hard that it explodes. Non-prime Nolan himself subdued an entire planet's surface without that much issue nor even a significant bit of his lifespan. This alone suggests it so that if by any chance they can tank or dodge a strong ki blast, they'll literally just run through Saiyans, who are vulnerable to bullets.

Like they can punch through planets, so how the fuck is a Saiyan tanking a single punch? It's just over the moment Viltrumites catch up to them. CQC is out of the question, and a straight blast isn't really the hardest thing to dodge.

For another thing, an energy blast to a planet has the advantage of interacting with a planet's core. Basically we can't even know for sure if Vegeta did all the work. All he had to do with reach the planet's core, so there are a multitude of ways where their skill set is specifically designed to be good at exploding planets. Comparatively, Viltrumites need to exert much more force to destroy a planet, but on a 1v1, they may be significantly superior

They've done the same thing for Nikke, so it's not that surprising. Either way, the censorship shouldn't bother you (just go to one of those SFM subreddit if you want lewd 3d stuff idk). The thing that should bother you is the reason why. They have to cater to a lot of immoral govt and audiences. They'll always play sides that give them the most sales in the end, just like how they acquiesced to China and the ME regions, as well as Korea's majority gamer audience, most of which are incels

Shamelessly stolen from a feat topic:
I think people overlook this but man this eclipses so much of what any Saiyans have been portrayed to do imo. Though again, it's not a discussion of the averages. I think comparing the strongest btwn them is too hard (Invincible already having run through and even having a flash forward arc). Saiyans couldn't individually outmatch somebody like Jiren, and Jiren reminds me a lot of Thragg (lol just saw the wiki reference the similarity btwn these two). Thragg being the strongest Viltrumite before the 1v1 with Mark.

Mark could individually outmatch Thragg eventually, and future Mark is like several times stronger. Goku would straight up need a series or two runtime in its entirety before we can even flirt with the idea that the highest form Goku can match up against Prime Mark.

Saiyans are definitely stronger than Viltrumites. It took three Viltrumites to destroy an already unstable planet, something a single high class Saiyan can achieve. However, Viltrumites can freely survive in space much longer than Saiyans.

So it'll depend on the specifics.
But that's not average vs average. They all work off of the whole what doesn't kill you makes you stronger logic, and the average Viltrumite puts themselves in deathly situation much more than the Saiyans do.

Yeah the things I hear of this game ain't positive much. I think the massive character recruit spree format needed some serious rehauling instead of relying on tradition and tired ideas. Most turn-based games either rely on a seriously tested formula or require genuine geniuses that the Etrian Odyssey crew has or something.

Unicorn Overlord also recently had the massive roster thing, and it worked spectacularly there because you can use so many of them at the same time

But there's probably a reason SBAllen stuck around with it for so long, and he's probably quit out of not wanting to manage it anymore, not because the site was a money sink.

Anyways, the best owner has to be SBAllen. They rolled back on a lot of nonsense during his reign

But I got an absolute banger game vs Branded. You know how crazy it got was that I skipped Ashing the Branded Fusion because I had Nibiru in hand. He even bit the bait of expending more resource to summon Albaz to fuse with my Nibiru, because I had called by to counter his Branded in Red the next turn, banishing his Albaz to fizzle his shit.

Time for Master Saga S5 E14

This is live commentary. Farfa almost got a fucking playable Mikanko ritual lmao. Kudos for not cheating. Gage has some good options here, and ngl Time Thiefs aren't the worst, but is Marincess Icejade a thing? I mean... why not, right? Doug got sick staples, Floodgate traphole, Gorz, and some decent choices elsewhere.

Farfa went... Numerons. I hope he loses. Farfa's been stepping up his "destroy Gage's butthole" diatribes. MBT influence is a bit bige.

Gage went Icejades, hell yeah. I like it. He's got a great water pool haha pool get it. I swear somebody has Icejade Gymir Aegirine. If it's Gage, he can just pivot to full Icejade. They're not bad and can set up unoutable shit randomly. HE GOT BARONNE?!?!?! Oh it's banned el oh el. I forgot Doug abused her like crazy. Ok Gage's pulls are kinda doodoo, big rip. I'm pretty sure you need Aegirine and her ship thing. His Ghoti pool got good all the sudden, but Guoglim is garbage, sadge.

Doug went Dragonmaid. I don't really agree with it cuz Unchained has always been good in Master Saga. Wait UR Tindangler? That's something to think about. Tiamaton is never not good in sealed. WTF ok he got Sheou and his craft is a double N/R. This slaps.

I hope Farfa loses. Glad we're not seeing the basically invincible Shaddoll Tear, but this is straight up objectively worse. Ok, Gage is working with Fish synchro, which is really powerful in sealed. It's not bad, and seems the Marincess package is still in it. Coelacanth is pretty wild. Gage's decks are just getting better, finally. Uhh... Doug went pend lol eh... It's actually a pretty decent deck, but maybe it's not week 14 decent. I'm actually a fan of Igknights, but can they do anything against Numerons?

The answer is no... This is the worst episode ever. God this is the first time Gage has read any of these cards either. The fucking dinomists do like nothing, wtf. They're like a battle archetype and they just do nothing at battle phase. Who designed these trash?

Gage's continuous stuff has like insane advantage game wtf. ...Ok Doug threw. I can't believe he didn't activate that effect to secure the win. Luckily I don't think Gage knows how to understand that a blue glowing text is the one that activates. He also never drew a tuner. That feels bad but I haven't seen his ratios

Can Gage make it a 1-1-1? HE'S GONNA SHIF. Holy shit he drew Imperm. It's so joe ever for Furfa. Ok Marincess to go into Abyss Keeper is fucking based. I like Gage's deck unless it bricks. Ok he's got a fucking mirror force at quick play damn this deck is so sick. Ok Gage, being coy about having imperm lmao. Holy crap he's also got hop ear squadron. I have to think IWishTCG built this deck. I just don't see it any other way. Ngl, his ratio isn't... that great? He might not have another fish tuner

Farfa with a decent quandary. I dunno if it'll work the way Farfa thinks but I actually think it'll go in his favor. Nvm, it ruled in Gage's favor, but it fucking banished face down? This is so crazy. Wow, it just comes back face down. So weird. Wow Farfa has Megaclops to plan B if the Numeron OTK doesn't work. That's too strong. Just ban Network. Man Farfa actually has too many things that need bans. Only if the targeted ban thing was still in effect. I swear that's not even that bad of a rule. Gage should've diversified. That's the whole point of the series

Turn 3, CPU activates Malefic World and essentially gives up his normal draw to get a Malefic draw. My Baronne negates, but Malefic World already negated his regular draw, and because it was negated and destroyed, it can no longer allow the CPU to find a Malefic. So it simply skipped its draw

why is master duel different from ban lists for tcg

"Iwata was awesome" - Mr. Nintendo
https://i.imgur.com/krtFHol.jpg
It was meta in TCG for some time. Now that I look at it, we don't have the key pieces yet, which are Gen the Diamond Tiger and Ken the Warrior Dragon. They summon the other to the other side of the board, which then you can do a Mikanko combo to summon up to 3 cards on the field, one of them having to be a lvl 3. Then you make an Acid Golem and Transverser the other to the other side.

It also technically works with Terrortop, but the other lvl 3s aren't quite as efficient as Terrortop or Mikankos with a card on the other side.

Gen and Ken were amongst the leaks so we may get them eventually

Meanwhile, I lost to another Chimera... The funniest thing about this fucking deck is that I won 2 in a row by simply going first and Ashing their first search. Seems if they don't get Chimera Fusion into the hand or aren't able to resolve Patchwork, they're kinda fucked

Xyz has the strongest deck in Purrely actually. Fusion seems the most popular and probably the most powerful, but ppl are sleeping on Xyz cuz it's hard to spam monsters without certain tools. As usual Terrortop is my goat, but man Zoodiacs are so weak. Their appeal of not activating is lessening by the moment.

The only non prio shift I can think of is the beginning of the main phase, which is considered an open game state.

https://yugipedia.com/wiki/Game_state

If it's open, the priority is on the turn player. The moment they declare anything that closes the game state, you can respond, and if you respond, you pass the prio to the other player

So technically you can respond like twice. When they declare the Main Phase end, you can respond, and when they declare battle phase and pass their activation, you can respond again at the beginning of the battle phase.

I liked playing during the time of Gen 4. It truly felt next gen for the first time. However, I distinctly remember that I didn't enjoy the entire experience.

Most of the main sections kinda felt like a big nothingburger, HP took forever to drain, effects took a long time to play out, slight delays happened every other action. There were also just sections of the map that did fucking nothing. The mountains were mostly bland caves and linear top paths, the middle section cities nobody fucking remembers what goes on over there.

Even as a kid with a surprising amount of patience, I felt a grating feeling in the back of my head, like man, I don't think I ever felt this with Sapphire. I know ppl talk about the long water sections, but at least those water sections had immense amounts of secrets and hidden paths. However, somehow nobody talks about how boring the entire 2/3 end of the game is in Diamond/Pearl. I played Plat so I know how much they speed it up. In fact, the Distortion World is probably the best thing Gamefreak has ever done to improve a game, cuz it had great dialogue, more Cynthia scenes, and probably the most memorable area design in any Pokemon games, despite the fact that most of what you do there is walk. Plat would still be worth playing, but if you look at the footages now, you can still see how fucking slow Plat is. Now imagine the game being 1.5x slower with worse content, and that's DP

This looks pretty good. I really liked SMTV actually, but I felt like the same writing staff just doesn't exist anymore in Atlus, aka the people responsible for stuff like DDS or Strange Journey.

So I wasn't sure about dipping into this one as well, but now I feel like I should. It gives me SMT4 Apocalypse vibes, and that's really good, but it still has the same feel as SMTV. Characters that just kinda look cool but don't amount to all that much. SMTV side quest plots were occasionally quite good. I really like most of the Nordic related ones that ultimately unlock one of the best and most animated demons in the game. I really liked all the ones involving the little fairy girl you meet early in the story. If those charms were more in the main story, I'd give more shit.

People being "As long as everyone' 18 it's ok" are probably the same ones perving on celebrities the moment they turn 18.
No, cuz it's not right to perv on sub 18 yr olds, so why should anybody keep track of who turns exactly 18? Therein lies the paradox

Yeah as long as you're legal, nobody should be telling you who to love imo. The biggest exception being severe power dynamic obviously

Yeah Karl is a drama channel that's occasionally a good speedrun analysis channel. You can sorta see from the way he speaks outside of his scripts, he's more into the drama than he is about the causes and speedruns and whatnot. Though I don't think his videos are particularly about negativity than it is about making a clown show out of them.

Video essay meta changes a lot more frequently than people seem to think. It's not really about negativity anymore. People love long drawn out narrations of things they can discern for themselves, and people love news and speculations. The way I see it, the only way negativity can succeed nowadays is if it involves lolcows and making a clownshow as large as possible about them.

Apparently many Koreans today stopped listening to K-pop since they feel K-pop has been too internationalized and are targeting foreign audiences at the cost of domestic audiences. They moved on to other forms of pop like trot, an older style of pop that sound more like disco.
Trot boom is so stupid. Even like around 30 years ago, it was deemed a pretty dated style of song. This is like if suddenly old flamboyant hair metal suddenly became the biggest genre, and you get muscly dudes in spandex and long dry curly hair being the forefront of media

It's also silly because you have genuinely really fucking good singers trained classically also take up the genre cuz it's so popular. It feels like a waste of talent but it's not like he was earning bank on his original genre.

This boom happened because of a tv show competition (Mr. Trot) and persisted probably because it's the most Korean centric thing in the goddamn world. Also it appeals to like a 50+ year range of audience, and modern K-pop realistically only appeals to like 10-20 years of range of ppl.

Yeah okay.

After complaining that bunny hopping like a maniac doesn't make you speed up anymore, I stopped reading.

That's just looking for stuff to complain about.
Never said DD2 lets you speed up? I clearly said it only applies to DD1, and DD2 lets your stamina recover, but you still move around the world at a snail's pace.

A lot of you haven't really read the whole post. I know not all of it was about jumping the shark, and I acknowledged it @NeonOPPAl and @Irony and the likes. But the jumping the shark part of the post was in the initial post

The overambition was the entire point, rather than focusing on making a playable game. However, a lot of the points made in the post does build up to it, so I think you guys don't really have good focus or reading comprehension. Not surprising though, cuz it's gamefaqs and people having fading eyesight due to age or some shit like that
