My neighbour's bought a Boxster for this. Kids are grown up and moved out, he wanted something cheap(ish) to get the roof down and take his wife out every now and then. Think he spent about 4k and he's out in it quite regularly.First gen boxters here in the US can be had for low 10k, but I would have to do a lot of work myself to keep running costs decent.
