A good shocking ending is, well, good. If it's just "A-ha! We made it look like things would turn out well but then we killed a main character! Get rekt nerds!" well that's just fucking dumb.

Not really an "achievement" but I used to know the key stats of the major unique items in Diablo 2, as well as how to make most relevant Runeword gear and what they were good for.

Now I have to look that crap up other than like 5 of them.

No thanks, I already read this copypasta years ago.

OP is leaving out the part where the box is brought to you by a man in a suit. He is carrying a case with 1 million dollars in it. He says if you push the button, he'll give you the money, but some one you don't know will die.

It's the system, on top of the (apparent) age of the user base. The upvote/downvote system basically functions as a Hivemind simulator and a disagree button. The moderation has no regulation, allowing a few randos to have complete control over an entire community. And it absolutely suffers from stupid teenagers wanting to gain 15 seconds of e-fame by relentlessly parroting the same stupid thing they saw some one else get 100 updoots from.

People around here seem to be stuck thinking that if you're turning left, you're always last to go. I used to regularly turn left from a two-way stop, and if there were multiple cars going straight, usually they all would try to go instead of one going and then the next letting me go. Even if I was stopped before they pulled up.

I literally changed my route because of this garbage.

I would be tempted on the 5k if it adjusted for inflation every year. As it is now, that's hardly a step up from what I'm making, and in 10-20 years will probably not be enough for basic expenses. This would also make me lose health insurance, since I get that far cheaper through my job, so I would almost be losing money with that deal.

The other one would let me pay off my house and car in half a year, at most, and although 5 out of 7 days each week would suck, the extra money would mean I can do whatever the fuck I want on the remaining two days. It would also mean I can take an actual vacation. Though I would prefer doing my current job over the one in the deal.

Supposedly the number of walls your bed is touching indicates how successful you are. As in, more space, less walls your bed needs to touch. If you live in a closet, your bed is probably hitting all 4 walls. If you own a mega mansion, there's likely room to have your bed where ever the fuck you want it.

Kind of. There was a cemetery quite close to the house I grew up in. It was slightly down the road from our property and then across the street, plus on the other side of a small strip of trees and a river. Kind of like this.

Basic hack and slash. I play this once a year when a friend comes to visit. We can easily beat the game in a few days

Saints Row 2
Best game in the series, if not the genre. I love the zaniness, plus the harsh realities of gang life, plus being able to just fuck around and do whatever I want. My only critique is it could use a better soundtrack, but that's nitpicking

Version 2.7 of the t:connect Apple iOS app used with the t:slim X2 insulin pump with Control-IQ has been recalled due to a software issue that causes the app to crash and relaunch. This cycle drains the pump battery, causing it to shut down sooner than expected and suspend insulin delivery.

The app was distributed from February 12 through March 13, and more than 85,000 have been recalled, the agency said in its announcement of the Class I recall the most serious type of recall.

On March 26, Tandem Diabetes Care Inc. sent affected customers a device correction letter requesting that users update the mobile app to version 2.7.1 or later. In its letter, Tandem said people should continue to use the pumps and update the app. Users should pay attention to system alerts, including monitoring the pumps battery level, and ensure that its fully charged or near full before going to sleep.

I didn't play through, so correct me if these were changed since 3/NV, but:

If you hold the action/drink button on a source of water, instead of just pressing it and letting go, you'll continue to drink and regain HP (and rads) faster

When hacking a terminal, look for strings of text in between signs, like {j3g4k1} These will remove a fake answer or restore your attempts.

Ya know, I remember Fandom from years ago when I first branched out into using the internet as a whole for game advice, instead of just looking up FAQs on here.

Does the stealing ability also make me magically able to bypass security like dogs or security guards? Or if I'm in a place I'm not allowed, will they still react to my presence, even if they have no idea I've stolen or will steal some thing?

I used to have a nice stick for poking at the fire any time I'd set up a campfire in the backyard. When I moved I didn't bring it with me. Worst decision of my life, easily.
