Realistically any Ghostface Id have a fair shot against since theyre just regular (crazy) people, but any of the ones with supernatural strength or powers, theres no way in hell.

It kind of has to be Ghostface since that's the only (really famous) slasher villain where it's just a normal person. One that always kills people wearing a long cloth they're always tripping on at that.

Any whos just a normal guy. So ghost face, Michael Myerss, etc. no, Im not counting whatever bs Michael does in the movies. Hes a normal fucking human, one thats just woken up from a years long coma most the time; he is not lifting up a grown ass man with one hand. He probably cant even walk without collapsing in real life.

I guess also leatherface. Hes also just a guy, much like the rest of his family. Though, a better solution would be for him to turn on the family that abuses him. Because every iteration of leatherface is like a 7ft giant.

Chucky is also a literal doll. Just cut up the plastic parts of him into itty bitty pieces.

When you get into the supernatural then you start going into can this one be talked down territory. Because realistically, outside of talking them down, you have no chance. I only know how to defeat the ghost of darkness falls because I saw the movie. Would I realistically do that exact plan if it were me? Probably not.

Chucky. His main advantage is people thinking he's just a doll until it's too late and you're dead. If you know he's alive you have a chance, it's just a possessed doll, easily contained.

Chucky has no indirect signalling. When you "feel" someone watching you, it's from noticing something that was too subtle to be actively aware of. Body heat, small but unusual change in light from the corner of your eye, very slight sounds, even a slight scent. All these things that come from just existing as a living thing, a pile of fluids and tubes: Chucky has none of that. Still and dead and cold as a rock if he wants to be.

If he comes at you, sure, he's literally a doll, just punt him. If he dropbears you, you might actually be fucked.

The explanation there was that you can't beat Freddy that way, only 'dream powers', which are specific to certain people, can equal his mastery of the dreamworld.

Have you seen Halloween Kills? He tears though dozens of people in it, most of them just randoms who happen to get in his way.

no he doesnt. Thats the thorn trilogy and not canon in the universe of that Halloween series. Michael from the first movie is just a normal guy. The entire point is that he was a nobody attacking a random babysitter for no reason. Thats why he was scary. He could be anyone.

He somehow learns how to drive a car perfectly, despite being locked up since the was 7 or 8, gets stabbed in the neck, stabbed in the eye, shot 5 times point blank and falls out of the second storey balcony of a house and is able to disappear without a trace in an instant, as well as displaying superhuman strength by impailing Bob to a wall with a knife. He's not a normal person.

When I was like 5-6 my next door neighbor and I would watch Chucky 2 and 3 multiple times a week For years I had constant recurring nightmares.
When I got to my teens, I randomly had the dream and very vividly remember having the nightmare, and in dream literally stopped and said 'it's a fucking 2 foot doll' and just punted the absolute shit out of him

okay, so for Halloween you have to detangle what is done just for the sake of a movie (ie cinematography, the plot, etc) and what is actually in character.

how does Michael drive a car? Because if he doesnt he cant get to haddonfield. Why does he not die from the first stab in the eye? Because if he does the movie has a short 3rd act. Etc etc.

like when he stabs that one guy through the chest and the guy just hangs there in the wall. Okay, even if Michael could lift the person with one hand.the knife is just a usual knife. You cannot hang a 180lb man on a wall with a knife that at best has 1 inch embedded into a wall. That knife is hanging on the tip, with all the weight pulling it down off the wall. At best it is in a pine stud; at worst its in drywall and insulation. Either way, that corpse will not hang there. The laws of physics disallow it. The knife is not magical. The reason its there is because it looks good, not because its probable.

same thing with the laws of time. Unless Michaels sisters boyfriend went upstairs, got undressed, had sex, got redressed, got back downstairs all in the 30 seconds it took for young Michael to pick up a knife. Theres no way all those acts happened in that short of a span of time, even as a joke about how bad the guy is at sex. Time is compressed at that opening scene for the sake of the story. We need to get to Michael stabbing people. Thats the point.

Michael Myers is a normal fucking human. The point of that first movie is that hes just a guy targeting someone completely unrelated to him in any way. Its a senseless crime with no point. Thats the point.

Theres a reason why every single remake/sequel cuts ties with all previous continuity. The more you try to explain Michael beyond just being a guy, the dumber it gets. Hell, making him have magic sensing my secret sister power is already the dumbest part of part 2, but even that could be explained away as just a normal guy with an obsession/having a hey, you look familiar realization.

edit: the first Friday the 13th or well the first 5 really, have the same thing. Jason is not an undead zombie yet. The killer is a normal human, yet taking damage/doing things a normal human cannot do. Its not meant to be realistic feats of strength. Its just there because its a movie.

also edit: I realize now this means that sleepaway camp is probably the most survivable slasher movie ever. Like how many people are really gonna get their head bitten off by a 12 year old? Or are we going to now claim Angela is also has supernatural strength because of that?
