Already got tickets. I'm super excited because my best friends husband is a huge Godzilla nerd and Shin is his favorite and this will be my first time seeing it from start to finish AND my first time seeing it on the big screen! --- That girl is poison... Me being unfamiliar with the material, my girlfriend made me watch Godzilla Minus One in theatres and i loved it. Now she is making ne watch Shin Godzilla on Tuesday the 21st in theatres and we also already have tickets --- GTM - Boko United survivor and dillos and nintendo and you are awesome ... It was so very good. Hard to say if I preferred it to Minus One because the focus is entirely different, but I definitely loved this version of Godzilla the most of any I've seen. My favorite reaction came from the first time the kaiju fully appeared on screen. Above is major spoilers for anyone who hasn't at least seen clips of Shin Godzilla so please don't hover over/click on that if you're at all interested in watching the film with virgin eyes and opinions. --- That girl is poison... My wife and I just watched it! I liked it a lot more than she did, but I don't think I like it more than Minus One still. When I got engaged to my wife, we ended up seeing Minus One in theaters that night because it was too freezing outside to go bar hopping. And we kept joking about how Godzilla was there for our special night, so we'll need to have him at our wedding as the guest of honor. So when our wedding came around we had a giant cardboard cutout of Godzilla for folks to take pictures with, and we came out to the reception to the Serj Tankian Godzilla cover. https://youtu.be/lOO8Um_jmLI?si=9SRsYcXjRE7ywtkI Godzilla is intrinsically a part of our lives forever now. we have now seen it and I really liked it, I also think i liked minus one a bit better but they are different that it's hard to compare reminds me of all those fast talking japanese cartoons in the past --- GTM - Boko United survivor and dillos and nintendo and you are awesome ...
