Like, if you have Eva giving codec information on every area in the game, you can't add another. You can't can't do anything that smooths the transition from MGS3 to Peace Walker and V or hints at the whole Patriots thing. There's opportunities there to do some different stuff with it without downgrading the quality (RE4's remake used this to good effect and upgraded a couple of things, though downgraded some others). They say they wanted to focus on arcade releases and this is why Gaiden and V are absent, but that doesn't explain IV. There are a pretty good number of unique home/handheld games in the series but unless they can get IV, Gaiden, and V (there are middleware licenses that have expired for 5 which would make that difficult) there's not enough big names to justify another collection after this. UF8 08/27/25 11:33:46 AM #31:	saw a review for VARLET now, had been a bit curious about it since it showed up in that one direct around the start of the month. seems furyu didn't bite off more than they could chew with this one (like they did with Reynatis) and it's not too bad a persona clone, though it still shows a clear lack of polish compared to the titles they used to get other devs to work on (legend of legacy/alliance alive/caligula 1/2/crystar/crymachina/monark). might pick it up, though admittedly i'm hesistant with shinobi and mgs tomorrow and a month packed with a LOT of stuff i'm interested in to come (there's at least three games i'm definitely getting day 1 next week, potentially up to eight) also i guess that harvest moon remake and the new super robot wars game is also probably out now edit: also starlight revolver and fruit mountain party <cite>UF8 posted [p:986222388] in August 202...
