Condolences to supporters of Garnet "Dagger" Til Alexandros XVII but she is forever enshrined in SMFFFC history as a finalist at least, broke the 3rd place curse.

Too bad she couldn't go from first Mercury Man at the beginning of the contest to last one standing. That would have been a better story.

Also lol, I've failed thrice with Aerith and twice with Locke. I'm definitely not proud of any runner-up shit at this point.

Also, I know I barely contributed since I was busy with other characters that needed more help but I'm just really glad Sabin has won, he's someone I gave up on maining long long ago since it seemed he lost any support he used to have back in the day.

I had a feeling the vote totals would suffer a bit in this final. Looks like I was right, although it wasn't too far behind Vanille/Locke by the end

Sabin is awesome. Best FFVI character, and honestly might prefer him to Seymour by a bit-- it's close. I'm glad he finally got a run and converted it at that. It felt like I wasn't really behind him because I was really trying to support Seymour fully and the Garnet savers were more receptive to trades, but in a normal year I'd have gone full throttle for him.
