Just FYI even if ten unique nominators* traded all six of their single nominations for, and used their single double nomination for each of the moogles, that only puts them at 8 which was on the bubble for this contest, which doesn't guarantee all ten of them get in.

(The magic number is 13 users under normal nom rules or 15 if lefty reduces to 4 singles + 1 double. 9 nominations either way WHICH if we just load in fast enough should be enough to pass any post-number tiebreakers)

Alright was lagging on doing this since i was visiting with my parents this weekend, watching the FF movie (the other FF), being enamored by SMACX, how many more excuses can I cram in here... anyways, dumping rest of my stats for posterity (plus one new stat table).

Character placements finalized, with Sabin moving up next to Kefka, both wins occurring in the leftyera - is FF6 the new FF13??? And while Garnet breaks her 3rd place curse, FF9's newstat-era wins still remain the two during the Leonera.

For the "nomination class", Prompto does give the appearance of success with a 5th place finish matching a couple other years' bests and exceeding a couple more; but at the bottom you'll see the average overall placement of the group and as expected, historically abysmal. Better luck with our nominations next year?

....given that we're heading into our 9th year of leftyera, I'm not sure how I'm going to handle adding in the additional column, lol...

Now the new stat table I was thinking about doing, did it, and now don't like it after having done it. But since I did it I might as well share it.

Taking the best newstats table and instead showing the characters' worst finishes - pure placement, regardless of percentage - in contest history. So of course somebody might be showing 60-something or 70-something, but if it was in oldstats era that's much worse than in the newstats era, but it is what it is.

Character names re-sorted in the new ascending order, and anyone who tied or set their worst-ever placement mark this contest gets the vomit-green colour coding, EXCEPT any contest debuts. Yeah they get the colour-coding in the "best" table but just doesn't feel right to colour-code them here in the "worst", so I didn't!

Not really any surprises here for this contest, except maybe Rydia? Though she did have a 60/60 in oldstats, but this year indeed surpassed her previous lowest of 64th in CXIX.

-Clive and Torgal almost feels as unfair as if I had shaded newcomers, but it is what it is!
-Ardyn and Alisaie in a similar boat with some pretty good consistency since their contest entries
-Uh, let's not focus on the timing of when those FF7 worsts happened and what user is probably tangentially responsible for that
-one Figabro hardbooted and removed from ECC as a result, his power karmically redirecting to the other one...

Beyond this year's "new worst finishes", looking across the board, on a long-enough timeline characters will catch boots. Mostly ECC and every-contest-since-debut characters who haven't, which is expected.
-Cecil's stats dominance is well-established, but never finishing below 33rd was still unexpected and legitimately remarkable.
-Lightning and Squall the only other pre-newstats debuts to maintain top-50 finishes each time
-Layle repeatedly dodging a possible worst-ever finish to end up with a best-ever one
-I guess FF9 "wins" by having 5/8 of its main cast not finishing 76th or lower (though that Amarant 74 is totally an oldstats 74/75, lol)
-For these tables, which of course aren't an exhaustive list of all contest entrants, 3 characters have the distinction of having the same number in both this "worst" table and the previous "best newstats placement" table: Yang (FF4), Strago (FF6) and Vaan (FF12)
-Poor Faris and Edward... I was debating whether to sort the data alphabetically rather than placement since those placements are cursed and never to be topped (until lefty starts expanding the contest, perhaps...!)

and lastly, cross-referenced this table vs. iron man stats as a reminder for characters who dodged a possible "worst" (or worser-than-reality) fate, if the round-ending save(s) had gone the other way:

Laguna: 89

14 characters in all, and granted three of them still set a personal low but like the saying goes - it could've been worse!

Anyways, something to keep in mind for next year, I might repost it then when we're in boots, if you want a reminder to avoid any characters sustaining personal worsts. Think I'm all statted out for this year though if there's something you want to see feel free to ask, if I can whip it up I probably would otherwise could keep in mind for next year.

God that XV worst list is hilarious, props to Ardyn for maintaining good form. A weirdly similar list to XIII, though with much fewer contests.
