Nuking a state over a spider is the only way to be sure.

I'd say that I'm not against nuking all user pages but for users who no longer come to the board (or who are no longer with us) they sort of preserve their place in our history so I'd rather that not happen unless they get archived somewhere. And obviously we could discuss some sort of opt-out if any users who are still on the board DON'T want their pages archived.

That's such a weird policy. Are there not dozens/hundreds of wikis dedicated to individual YouTube channels? Is every one of those breaking the rules by mentioning the owner of th channel?

Anyway, since Fandom wikis suck and we've already agreed on that fact a long time ago, can't we migrate it to a different site? This feels like one of those things where people will bring it up but nobody wants to do anything until the future point where it actually gets deleted and doesn't come back.

I'll still never forget the day I first found my B8 Wiki page. Where the only thing accurate about it is the Wickiebee thing. Would be sad to be gotten rid of but I understand if it'd be tough to keep them.

Of course. Mainly going through and deleting outdated jokes (transiences nickname), pages that are just dumb, pages from people requesting they be removed, and old problems.

It could be said that if anyone has a vested interest in the B8 wiki not being obliterated, it's ulti, who has done like eight million contest match write-ups, but I'm glad someone's spearheading this.

I'm ace myself, so I take this seriously. I'll remove any kind of sexual references from it. But I can also delete the article completely. Let me know. EDIT: Removed bullet points, including non-sexual ones that were not appropriate.

Note that it's possible/likely it will get deleted anyway if we're not supposed to have pages about living people.

Also, I want to thank Ulti and Lefty for being awesome admins through this. I know I haven't been there so much. You two are the true admins at this point keeping things running.

Not that I agree with it, nor do I know when they added that rule. I would assume it was added sometime after the Wiki's creation and it's just being retroactively hit for it.

Oh and yes, this was done after the Board 8 Wiki was created. I remember Wikia being cool with community wikis, which was part of why I moved it there in 2007. Fandom seems to have changed things.

It wasn't actually referring to transience, it was someone straight up using the slur in the writeups, which I asterisked out.

That must have been a small scale fad at the time because 3 people mentioned that same thing in their writeups.
