Went with GTAIV over V because the latter is more associated with other systems and the announcement of IV was such a huge moment for the console overall.

feels like the only two locks for the 360. for some other stuff uh... little tricky. Kinect was successful but not that successful as a whole; about 20% of all 360 owners had one, entire lifetime of all Kinect items totaled to 35 million, 24 mil by 2013 (the 360 was discontinued in 2014 so roughly there). in other words, literally every Kinect owner "bought" Kinect Adventures since it was mainly bundled. all in all, i'm just ignoring Kinect as a whole because most people simply didn't have one or want one.

okay people seem to be in agreement about the other three games but my case for Minecraft is that it was the first console port of that game and went over so big it was a contributing factor to Microsoft just buying Mojang. I also feel the 360 was a paramount console to making indie games more than a cult thing and Minecraft is a pick for that.

Don't really need an explanation for the first two. Took Dance Central over Kinect Adventures due to better critical reception and we do kind of need a Kinect title on the mountain. Mass Effect kinda does belong here despite being a multiplatform. With TES:IV, we couldn't afford PC parts that could run the damn game back then so the 360 was our best option.

bold vote here with several major franchise snubs, but i feel like all of these edged them out in popularity on specifically the xbox ecosystem i saw over here at least (friends i knew that played oblivion only ever did so on pc, skyrim was a bit more mixed but also not really a thing on xbox here, and gears and halo just weren't as popular as some of the others (even if obviously very much still up there). def a worthy argument that any other rockstar game could make it on too, i just figured rdr was one of the most specifically popular on 360 ones)

I kinda want to put Dead Rising on here because I played that when I didn't have a HDTV yet and the game was basically unplayable due to its tiny text. I dunno why but me getting a subpar experience as a result of non-game-related technology is like a core memory of the PS3/Wii/360 era.
