I hated GW with my heart. It genuinely just felt like a job, and having only 1 chance and potentially getting completely screwed by RNG hurt. It always felt good when my defense teams did well though, and the entire world was burning all around me

Yeah, the RNG in E7 was a huge pain. They really shouldnt have made it have such a huge impact. Sometimes a little RNG was the difference between losing an arena match and winning without a single casualty. Its stupid how much it can affect fights :<

I made posts about how 85% res cap is a scam or dodge and elemental misses and shit made luck such a massive part of the game. I've looked around and they basically never really budged on it. I heard they still have pay to switch equipments and shit. Not to mention the equipment speed rolls that literally decide if an equipment is usable or not.

What's with the uptick in collabs lately? BD2 x Goblin Slayer and Langrisser x DoA 6 both start on the 8th. I don't know if I want to keep playing HSR because I liked Langrisser more than HSR, and like DoA more than Fate. Or the characters picked for the collabs at least. If they had say Scathach or Jalter, then we would have a close race, but Saber and Archer are meh. Like I know they're mandatory and represent the franchise, but I like when games have extras. Like E7 did a good job with collabs by having the main character(s) plus extras.

Anyway, Girls Frontline represent.

Angel Beats collab for HBR on 5/16. It's an independent what-if story so you can read it with basic understanding of the HBR crew, though you'd probably need to watch... About 4 episodes of the Angel Beats because that's where the girldemo members kinda get their last big appearance. Actually now that I think about it, I guess up to ep 10 might be prudent since there are spoilers about Kanade. She's a lot more loosey goosey in the HBR story from what I hear

Sword of Convallaria is doing something kinda stupid... For its event, you get bonus event currency by using certain characters. For those who don't know how skipping stages work, you need to assign a certain number of characters to a stage. For the event stages, you can assign up to 5. But when you manually play it, you can use up to 6 characters. Meaning you can use one more guy to give you bonus currency. And they did the math, and you're forced to manually do the stage with all 6 bonus characters to clear the shop quite a bit :<

Only with my dogshit luck do I lose every 50/50 and 75/25 in GFL2. Got Vector because it was 100% and I lost the gamble for her gun so I had to 100% the banner to get it. Fuck my life.

I'm actually tempted to skip Vector (Doll) and get the Vector (gun) instead.

My Suomi (Doll) is stuck with Suomi (gun) and that's no problem at all, but Cheeta stuck with PPSh-41 is not really nice.

Also came to the realization that unless you have a way to reliably trigger all support fires from Qiongjiu (with her expansion Key) AND Qiongjiu V3, Vector is near useless.

The latter comes with time, the former is actually rather annoying. Sabrina doesn't work on AoE (which the current Gunsmoke boss do) and Machiatto only lasts 2 turns.

I honestly never thought I'd ever get her and she turns up now off a YOLO multi I was throwing for Kal'sit. Very awesome, a dedicated boss killer was the last thing I feel my RI barracks was missing. Gonna be a long time till I'm back to rock farming given Texas needs her last ten levels and now I've got a new six star project.

Is Kal'sit worth grabbing with merit tickets nowadays? Only got enough for her or Executor when he turns up later this year so I need to pick wisely and I dunno how well Kal'sit has aged over the years.

Nowadays I use Kaltsit for the true damage and in Integrated Strategies. True damage ignores , defenses, dodge and most versions of damage reduction so there's plenty of stuff Kaltsit can outright ignore with her S3, like for example in the current event she can easily deal with the vehicles outside of Carnevale, and can also ignore the boss shields. She used to be the best "fast redeploy" unit but then Texas happened. She also sucks as a medic since she'll always priorize herself and her summon(Unless you're playing Integrated Strategies, since her special module for that mode fixes that).

Executor I haven't used much since by the time he released I had a lot of laneholders built already. He's a little weird to use since he can't be healed directly but doesn't have Mudrock's tankiness, but with S3 active he'll have no problem staying alive as long as he has something to hit. He has true AOE and better range than most other laneholders. If I remember correctly his module is a significant upgrade for him, since his damage depends a bit on rng and the module improves his big damage chances quite a bit.

So it depends on what other units you have. Kaltsit is more of a jack of all trades unit that only excels at true damage, while Executor is just a good melee damage dealer. There's a certain Chain Medic in the future that can do the true damage thing too so if you want to roll for her I'd go for Executor.

Bah, after a lucky week last week, I've gotten almost nothing all week, especially struggling to get Mihara Bonding Chains (though apparently she's not that good) other than through pity

Hmmm... my inner waifu collector is overtaking my sense of logic. I could wait for my stamina to replenish, or stages with higher reward points to come out...

Or I could spam this one stage to get Kasumi day one. At 10K points I'll have enough shards to get a copy of her, and I currently have 1,650. One stage is really easy and can be done in about 2 minutes, and gives 300 points. That'll be roughly 279 stamina and close to an hour of grinding.

EDIT: Looks like Yostar is having some technical problems with the Arknights update and they're trying to fix it. The server is down for now.

Decided to drop Nikke as realised just not really being enjoying it and have been ignoring the story for months now.

Not that I thought the story was bad, I just wasn't reading it or going back once done the stages like I do with arknights.

Ugh, the current Arknights event has to be one of the worst they've ever done. Every enemy either being invisible or having absurd damage reduction 90% of the time is such a pain. Still need to go do the final stage and I'm really dreading it.

I enjoy Nikke but progress is very slow, CP barely goes up now except on leveling which takes 5 days or so
Still only on chapter 28

I'm having absolutely horrific luck with Echo substat rolls in Wuwa. For the last 2 hours, every set of 2 substats has been DEF or HP along with a Resonance Skill (or Liberation) Up. Not a single Crit Rate or DMG roll.

Can't get above a 60% Crit Rate on any of my 8 decently built characters. Wild.

What games do you all play
Me:

Girls Frontline 2 - lvl 60, all but one doll, mostly coasting at this point
Nikke - Ch 28 / 38, waiting for CP to pass 270k before trying to further campaign (260k now)
Brown Dust II - cleared all campaign stuff, only have physical team and trying to build a magic team now
Horizon Walker - lewd game idc, joined recently but finished campaign on hard and trying to amass EX chars
Run! Goddess - simple barrel shooter game that I might drop after they were forced to censor for google store supposedly temporarily, we'll see
Pokemon TCGP - fun and takes the least time per day

I'm a longtime Arknights and Fate Grand Order player, I keep up in story with both, in Arknights I try to do everything while in Fate I play whenever I feel like.

Also started Heaven Burns Red a month ago, I still have lots of story and events to do in that one but I've been mostly chilling and grinding my units recently.

I pretty much only play Girls Frontline stuff after some point.
Dropped pretty much everything (except Master Duel) for Girls Frontline.

Basically only have time for Azur Lane at the moment. Everytime I try a new game or go back to an old one I get bored or annoyed after a few weeks.

Only D4DJ Groovy Mix and Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel, and that's it. Everything else I've played either shut down the servers (PriConne, Revue Starlight, Magia Record, etc.) or just didn't catch my interest enough to keep me playing (Arknights, Star Rail, HBR, GFL2, Magia Exedra, etc.) and at this point I'm probably done trying out new gacha games. I have been watching the Arknights anime and having a lot of fun with it though. Season 3 is coming in July and I'm really excited for it. Still not gonna play the game though.

This HBR Score Attack left me a defeated man. They way overtuned the boss and I simply didn't have the units required for it. I think the last week's wave was doable if I pulled Hot Springs Isuzu.

I used my best team since the DPS is slash, but like... man. I even made notes of the attack pattern, which didn't show on the companion website, made flowcharts and kept potential dmg rolls that can fuck me over in my head. Shockingly, I actually won one

But like that's the type of note I was taking just to win this, and I was 30k points short of plat. Whatever, I'll accept defeat here I suppose. I got 5 days and it's possible but with the units I have, it's very very RNG heavy

Okay wait, Apex Girls actually has some good things going for it. Like one thing that I like in games is when they have a permanent pass that gives you currency everyday. In Apex Girls you can get it by going through the 7 day starter quests :D

Yeah, I missed some nice stuff coming in late. Even when you start up, it just takes time to catch up on current events, so you feel like you'll miss out on those, too.

All you really missed in Wuwa was a free outfit for one of the best 4 star characters, and a free 5* dude who remains the only Limited Electro main DPS for now. I missed both of those too. Also I should mention that 12 out of the 15 Limited characters were running this anniversary patch, so if you started now you might be able to get your pick from one of the 6 in the second half of this patch.
