Etheria is pretty fun. No issues for me yet, it looks and feels polished. No 50/50 and pulls feel abundant so far.

My main worry are the LD units though. I got one on my 3rd reroll but I'm sure I won't be that lucky going forward. If LDs continue to be meta defining then it could become an issue considering the low rates.

Finally unlocked the orb bosses in HBR, and of course I can't beat anything besides the level 1 versions. I should have enough damage, surviving until I can use my ex skills is another story lol.

Btw, I recently learned the sheer terror of Irie S they gave out in the AB collab. Her 9 cost skill is a team wide high heal (around 2500-2800 heal) with high def up for a turn for your frontline. If you have trouble surviving, having a lvl 130 Irie might honestly solve a lot of your problems. Having a healer + Irie probably lets you survive 90% of content in this game. The problem is that you now use up 2 team slot purely for survival. Irie CAN do some debuffing with Orb skills but that's a catch-22 especially in your case

I also finish Ch 4 part 2 and I think that was the first time I shed some tear in a gacha game. It's very powerful and all the lead up to it really matters.

Btw, the boss for this one... I could not for the life of me use a canon team. My 31-A team is extremely solid and can beat the story, but there was a moment where I had to use 30-G without Kura..., and I simply did not have the units for it. I have 2 Yuinas but basically no support for her in the canon team. I just had to deploy my meta ice team and went oh well, at least my 31-A team did work too.

Etheria is fun. One of those games where a lot of non-highest rarity units can shine. I'm not too deep into the PVP portion of it but I'm still having fun with the grind.

Only thing that sucks is there's one super rare character who's main shtick is DoTs and most bosses are immune to it lol. The one boss that wasn't they hot fixed to say hey, you don't actually work here either lol

Playing Etheria too, struggling to clear certain bosses on Hell mode
Built up Massiah who is good but not quite what I was expecting. Lingluo from the event day 7 thing is helping at least

Oh snap, yeah Vritika is basically the same deal. I didn't know she had that kind of skill. If you ever had trouble surviving, hilariously using both of them on your team is something to consider. You probably won't need another healer.

Also those are solid teams, but I also kinda recommend that you limit break your Inori at least once. LB1 is a pretty big powerspike cuz you get 1 additional SP if they're frontline. If you use LB materials, make sure to use the weekly one first. I recently discovered that you can't fill that meter past 200%, so I just had to LB some unit that I use a lot just to make space.

Got Eve +3 today, only took 140 draws which was surprising
More importantly, I finally got not just one Red Hood dupe but TWO, one in special recruit and one in standard

I did it, finally fucking did it. Did a few laps around my apartment lol, when I got the 2nd Red Hood dupe I couldn't even make any sounds despite the urge to scream - "I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream"
Knew they'd have better (or perhaps 'fair') rates on collab / major events, just like with the Little Mermaid event. Don't think I'll ever draw on regular events again with those fucky rates

Damn. I hate Etherias RTA. Well, I guess I hate all RTA, especially when you cant use the same characters as your opponent. RTA was my most hated feature in Epic Seven, but at least you didnt need to do it to get really valuable items :<

I got EVE once and used the gold tickets to get her 3+ for the lobby theme. Got almost 10k in gems it will go down for when I draw for Raven though. Been playing since day 1 without ever missing a day. I have several maxed and some close to max.

Let's see if my dogshit luck streak continues with the Stellar Blade collab in Nikke. Didn't manage to pull any of the characters I wanted in Nikke this year outside Red Rapi in January. I'm not touching any of my gold tickets because those are for Anis.

Forgot to add the only money I waste are on the Passes just the ones I like. Sadly this EVE one right now the Neuro Link is disappointing not getting it.

Lost my 50/50 for Cartethyia so she took 92 pulls overall(counting pity from previous patch), while her weapon took me 40 pulls after I was at 22 pity. Now begins the saving and scrounging up all the Astrite I can from patch 2.4.

Well it took a while for me to save close to 70 pulls. Which means I wont get Awakened One because Langrisser rates are ass :<

Pulled Cartethyia within 40 pulls of guarantee (the last 10 pull I borrowed someone else's finger), after having 90 pulls spent for Carlotta's banner and lost the rate up to Jianxin.

So close to 130 pulls spent.

I'm not sure if I go for the weapon. I'll most likely just use Emerald of Genesis with HP% Echo, lol.

Well I had to buy the level growth pack for $20, but I must say Awakened One is worth it. She has a funny mechanic where once per fight, if she dies, she summons a copy of her self with 70% of her stats (except HP) at the start of the next turn that lasts for 3 turns. And if the clone kills anyone, then she gets revived with full health :3

HBR doing their annual June Bride themed units. I watch their biweekly reveal show with Yuki/Tsubasa VA definitely not because I may or may not have a crush on Yuki's VA and only because I need HBR news of content that I'll not see for the next several months.

And honestly, very unexpected picks. It's Yingxia and Iroha. First yr was Mari and Ichiko, 2nd was Charlotta and Seira, now Yingxia and Iroha... Usually they seem to pick girls that placed highly on the popularity contest, but the current duo are not like crazy popular comparatively. Iroha gets a sizeable backstory from the intermission ch in between Ch 4 pt 1 and 2.

It's cuz 31-A/B/C and 30-G are supposedly the main squads written primarily by Jun Maeda, and D/E/F/X are written by another guy who's also considered one of the 2 main writers for HBR. D/E/F/X are primarily called the side story squads that only get a passing mention or small contribution in the main story. Outside of Charlotta, they don't really get enough plot to be really popular, traditionally, which is why they get more involvement in Ch 4. But Yingxia and Iroha are both from the side story squads. I think they want the side story squads to be more popular going forward

It seems pretty scummy to just shut down a unit without saying anything or giving any compensation.

I deleted Etheria. The fact that they give so little experience on the exp grinding stages and level gate the main story makes the game such a bore. Plus the PvP focus and boss shadow buff doesnt help anything.

Ill probably try Marvel Mystic Mayhem which comes out on the 25th (soft launch on the 18th though?) I doubt thatll hold my attention very long though, since it looks like Tower of God: New World.

That and Lost Sword in July. Until then I guess I can focus on Langrisser, Brown Dust 2, and Apex Girls

Eh, I have several characters max level already as 6S (mostly from grinding the exp-farm level and from event rewards), and am level player 45/50 - won't be long before max that too
I don't care for the PVP focus either, and getting non-stop poor modules is pretty frustrating
You can't really progress without better modules and they just don't drop enough - when they do they usually are useless things like HP-focused

It does feel like it might flame out after you get enough mythic modules. Story is boring, I started skipping once it started being like "hurr durr virtual world therefore we can do whatever we want at any time and you just accept it." Meanwhile I can't comprehend actually living in such an unpredictable world like that

Some gacha game stories are OK

Brown Dust II is decent enough, it's at least funny to offset how arbitrary some things are in it
Nikke is mostly good, after Ch 26 it's been getting even more arbitrary and with borderline magic technology, plus dragging on super slowly (I'm on 32 and 27-32 have been one long stretch of the same shit)
Horizon Walker story felt like it was written by a middle schooler with how often they lob grandoise terms without expanding on any one concept, but a quick look at the game tells you it wouldn't be good; still, I enjoy the sometimes humorous dialogue (when it's not being overly crude)
Girls Frontline 2 - half the story seems like it's just "remember me?" callbacks to the previous game, which I didn't play. Still, it's probably better than the others, but I have the same issues with it that I do with all Chinese writing I've seen in games: being overly wordy while still somehow managing to not expand nearly enough on the concepts they introduce. Feels like they say so much to explain so little.

Yeah I hit the .75% rate for her specifically but 3 times in 60 pulls. My math brain isn't fully working right now, but basically probability wise, you get 1 of her in 133.3... pulls. But I pulled 3 of her in 60, which implies I pulled her at a 5% rate. 5 vs. .75 is pretty insane

Hilariously I got another SS on the very first pull. That one made me sick thinking I was gonna miss the 25/75 on every SS and it was gonna be another pity breaking heartbreak. I'm still reeling from this

Tale told in 1 image that I had to make cuz Gamefaqs won't let me spam my Mari love. Easiest 120/35 of my life, only needed 500k points. The boss wasn't nearly as difficult as the last one though

Mari only blushes in the victory pose if you end the fight with her ult btw, which is a great bit of detail. (also I realized in my fight, I did the lowest possible dmg roll. There's a +- 10% dmg roll that shows up at the end of your dmg, and I got 0%. Still more than enough dmg)
